Barry would be hurt to think that people aren't aware of how much he loved & respected their talent. There were a time they had solo careers. Andy the youngest brother was also very talented. As a matter of fact one song Barry wrote but didn't want to record it Andy made it a #1 HIT! Their children are still close to uncle Barry and perform with him! Please don't think the twins were robbed of their own time to shine.
I agree with all of that. And I know they loved each other too much. But I also agree that Maurice was underestimated. Robin and Barry disputed the supremacy and Maurice (light and gentle soul) kept out of the dispute. I loved Maurice from the first moment I saw him. Great musician. Beautiful voice, sweet like him.

Jane Lloyd For me it was Robins voice and their harmonies that won me over to the Bee Gees. When watching some of their concerts it is Barrys lead vocal about 85% of the complete concert, and the falsetto is not my cup of tea. I so agree with you that the twins beautiful natural voices should have been heard much more.

I met Maurice back in the early 70's...such a polite man...he said, love that long black hair( I always kept my hair waist length)...so sadly missed, RIP MAURICE, ROBIN, ANDY (my niece liked Andy)...along wth.
