hello I am trying to put timecode on INSTa360 titan camera. I remember putting in the time code when we were filming in Europe. But when filming in the US, he said it was impossible. Are you using a timecode generator as an aux? INSTa360 titan and Can I put the timecode at the same time as the Sony Venice 2 camera to match it? If possible, please let me know which timecode generator should be used.
Hi, as far as I know the Insta360 has a 3,5mm microphone input port. It's possible to ingest the timecode there using our NanoLockit (ambient.de/en/product/nanolockit/) and the respective cable: ambient.de/en/product/ltc-in35/ It works both in Europe and the US as you can adjust the Lockits to any frame rate. If you attach another NanoLockit (or Lockit) to your Sony Venice it'll stay in perfect sync with your Insta360 - as the NanoLockits run on the exact same time and ingest this timecode to the camera.
Hi Seth, there are any kind of adapter cables available, be it for 3.5mm or XLR interfaces. Find an overview and a timecode cable guide here: ambient.de/en/product_custom_cat/timecode-cables/
Depends on the project ;) If you assume for example a 2 hour interview where the director has logged the good answers and the editor can directly edit the highlights together, he or she is not a noob but efficient.
Nice feature!
That's clever but I don't think it has enough star wipes.

@@AmbientRecording Thanks, I'll test it out and let you know!!
is this work only with adobe Premiere Pro or i can use it with DaVinci Resolve or aved
At the moment Premiere Pro only. But we want to integrate other editing tools in future, too
Could I adapt a timecode to 3.5mm cable to XLR for multicam recordings?

while its a cool feature, this just shows absolute lazy editors. if you're afraid to scrub all the footage you're just a noob.
