- I got this handheld inkjet printer from Amazon UK for £459.00, this is an expensive equipment which will increase your work flow in a warehouse or shop dramatically.
Essentially this is a handheld rechargeable computer with printer in one., it can print on any surface as long as you maintain a paper thin gap between the print surface and the inkjet head. I tried it on my skin and it works too, except if your flesh touches the printer head then it will be a smudge instead.
The menu is responsive, built in function is good enough to generate bar code, QR code or free typing text etc. you can upload picture with a USB stick if you wish as long as the image is under 4800x150 pixels. This handheld is for printing text, numbers and simple logo etc. I tried printing a photo and it comes out like a bad photocopy.
The ink will be a major deciding factor for most average user, the printer is expensive outlay plus the ink cartridge is £120 each. If I use it to print barcode or QR codes only then it will last a while. I am not looking forward to be paying over £100 for an inkjet cartridge. I might try and refill it.........surly it is just another inkjet refill job.

Hi have a large file of many barcodes, all barcodes are different. Can I print barcodes from memory stick on at a time with each print pass?
the ink is water proof? for example i work with plastic ice bags and i will like to know if it dissolves.

I bought from amazon Bentsai handheld inkjet printer. i want to install the Bitmap font. Because the bitmap font is not clear what installed on the BENTSAI, I read Bantsai's manual. to install fonts or firmware with u-Disk. does not work. when i insert u-disk the machine doesn't see it. my u-disk has no font or firmware folder. can you give me a solution? important for me.

Great video, thanks! Do you remember if this came with a spray bottle of cleaner for the ink cartridge? We got an identical gun (exact same contents and case) from a different company (I think a lot of companies are sticking their name on this gun and selling it). Our bottle of cleaner was empty out of the box and I'm wondering if you're supposed to fill it with alcohol or water? Did you ever clean the ink cartridge? I don't see any info on this in the Instruction Manual. Just wondering how (like are you supposed to spray the cleaner directly on the ink cartridge and wipe it off or spray it on the rag and then wipe...?).
No bottle or fluid came with it, for the few months we used it for packaging labels we did not need to clean the head as it was in constant use etc, cover always back on it straight after

Good video thanks. Will it print on to plastic bags? I need to barcode individual sleeves of products that are taken out of a box.
I find printing on plastic a bit rubbish as per any non porous material there is nothing for the ink to grab on to. May be I need a different ink but not much to choose from

I want to take notes on my notebook from word and excell files. Is it suitable to print it long/large articles to the notebook?
For exapmple 1 or 2 pages I want to take copy to my notebook.

My guess is that yes it will print long and width or length of A4 is not a problem but it will be a lot of effort and set up to make it work 😅 easier to cut out printed on A4 then stick it down 😅
Hello. Can I use it on furniture/IT items to track, instead of barcode labels for inventory? If yes how long the ink stays on the surface?thanks
As long as the surface is flat it will print, imagine a fine mist of ink sprayed with accuracy to create bar code. How long the ink stay depends on the material being printed. On cardboard once dry I don't see it going to fade anytime soon. On non porous materials it will just wipe off etc

How are you doing with the machine, did you have problems?
Sold it once I finish my project and got another recently. If the ink has enough time to dry then it will stay on glass or non porous materials. It will get rub off if rub hard enough. I did a review recently with another hand held printer with more sample and testing on different materials. Different brand but same concept

Sorry, don’t have this anymore as I upgraded to another with bigger screen. As long as the glass is flat enough for the roller to be in touch it will print but takes longer before it is touch try

yes it does, but any non porous surface it will take a bit of time before ink dry so as long as you don't wipe it before it dries
Can you print an image? Like a logo?
Yea but simple is the key as it does not like shading and low resolution

Does this work on tshirts ?
Yes it does print on t shirt or clothes. If it is cotton and the ink is well saturated the fibers then the ink will last even if you wash it at 40c in washing machine. It will fade after many wash tho.
