TMX6-10 Rittisbergbahn

Just in time for the ski area's 50th anniversary, the completion of the new "TMX6-10 Rittisbergbahn" resulted in a significant modernization, bringing maximum flexibility and a significant increase in performance for the Schladming-Dachstein region. The journey time to the mountain station at 1,500 meters has been almost halved compared to the previous lift and now takes just over three minutes. Thanks to its "3-in-1 technology", the installation can be operated as a gondola lift, chairlift or a combination of both systems, making the Telemix installation on the Rittisberg the ideal solution for the many different uses of the family mountain.

I don't understand telemix lifts, they seem so useless

with little children or toboggan you take the gondola. Skiers don't want to take off their skis. They take the chairs.

The telemix is mainly used to accommodate young inexperienced skiers and hikers without needing to slow down the telemix. For example, this is the drawback of the Ramasse chairlift in Val Cenis, France, which has to slow down for pedestrians. However, the downside of a telemix is the queue it can create, such as with Marmottes 1 at Alpe d’Huez, in France

And dont forget that if they have infrastructure on the mountain it is easier to use the cabins for logistics
