You guys should use some crazy prompts and then have the crew try to remake those results as a render challenge. I'm doing it myself just to see how well it works as a conceptual visualizer of sorts!
yessss, let's get this up
@@ginogarcia8730 right, I just downloaded a bunch of my results, soon as I finish the challenges, I'm in I will do another self-challenge to myself and recreate one of these results. I'd also like them to incorporate more challenges to the public, the last one was fun even though I didn't do as well as I wanted to lol. But every day, I push myself further and further and find ways to challenge myself. It's part of my learning process. Keeps me hungraaay hehe
That closing song/ "we can talk if we need to" comment. Love the love you guys have.
So glad this channel didn't get hacked
27:15 😂 I'm dead
Y’all did a great job with punch for punch!!! Can’t wait to see more
29:15 One of the big problems with huge industrialized farms is that they don’t rotate crops. This has caused the genetic diversity in newer crops to be weaker so now big companies are producing lower quality food because they can’t do the simple task of planting corn on the same field after wheat harvest :/
27:15 Oh god, that "potty test" moment was a hot take and a half! 😂
Niko comes out with some great one liners and i dont think he even knows he does it ...love these guys
Was already subbed, but I clicked the notification bell. XD
it's Jake in the flesh
Jake is a few books away of going from new age ancap libertarian to old guy commune libertarian.
P4P looks hella dope you guys, congrats it's pretty amazing but I wouldn't have expected anything less!
I subscribed today. We are pretty primitive I think. When we look at what we've accomplished in relation to our history its amazing to us but, I believe we probably know less than 1% of what the universe has to offer including knowledge. Do we really understand ALL of physics, energy ... anything? We don't even know what's in the ocean . Nature will fix all of it in the end, we will evolve or we will disappear. Going to watch Punch for Punch bye.
Ok Sun Tzu
Already subbed. Been subbed since the VGHS days (to the old S&N channel)
The snot-cast is back!
that metadata collection video sounds hilarious
Average rob had a genuis way of asking for "post notification squad", check it out :) always at the end of the video
I’m relation to the air pumps Jake was talking about at the start of the episode - the UK has had these for so long and whereas they might not always be 100% accurate, they do enable those with dexterity issues to be more independent and complete essential tasks easily
it's all about the wording in the prompts man, as I said, you can even pull some sick stuff from Dall-E Mini wish isn't as good as the real Dall-E and Dall-E 2, Midjourney is pretty sick, i needs me credits for it now. But Night Cafe is another one that's free, and you can earn credits or buy them. It's because of you guys that I find stuff like this and I dig deep into the stuff to find alternatives and ways to use it that normal folks wouldn't have thought of lol.
Hey guys! Have y'all ever read Neal Shusterman's book series, Sythe? It's an excellent book series that explores some of the deep stuff you're talking about.
What’s interesting is Niko saying that you can type in too much detail into the prompt (when he mentions the dragon looking down from a wall at an army) but in reality Dall-E 2 actually performs better when you give an incredibly detailed prompt. There’s some amazing examples on the dalle subreddit
Sam should play the guitar more often
Sam has music out on Spotify. Can't remember the name of it though.
I subscribed a week ago when I figured out that this was a different channel from Corridor Crew that I was already subscribed to. And I subscribed to the main channel as well.
Was weird seeing r/Cyberpunk ban DALL-E and other AI art. Ironic, but understandable and apparently it brought back some artists into the subreddit to show off their stuff.
What Jake describes at the 30 min mark or so is currently happening to citrus in Florida currently. A disease called greening is running rampant.
The sub reminder was actually useful
Def. pushed this sub ... 😂
i had been watching the channel for years, and i hadnt subbed until wren had asked me "whether i wanted specifically tailored content chosen by me, or did i want some youtube algorithm to decide for me?"
been up to date since
I lost it when Sam mentioned the potty test and saw everyone’s reaction
Subbed on the other Corridor channels after months of watching because Sam asked in a funny way. Subbed to this one today to prove him wrong. Wait, is Sam a genius?
I think the next push is informative. I don't think anyone explains the use of subscriptions (or the bell in particular.) Just tell people "Hey, real quick. The reason we always ask people to subscribe and turn on notifications ("smash the bell")? We ask that because the more people who make it a point to watch our videos as soon as it drops? The more UA-cam thinks it's good, and pushes it in front of even more people. It trends a lot quicker, and is a thing you can do, to help get a lot more eyes on us." - Now, before you say "people know that," a) I'll bet many don't. And b) people love to have their expectations affirmed. Makes us all feel smart.
Is the intro Terran music from starcraft?
i hate new air pressure machines, i still have to hold the damn nozzle because it never seems to stay on perfectly
i can check the pressure on my own at that point
so now i have to hold it and turn around to see how much pressure it is right now
good talk
Corridor Crew Hijacked 😭😭😭😭😭
One of your channels got hacked
The UA-cam algorithm is actually quite good at not feeding you just one thing all the time. You will find it feeds you a ton of very similar or at least highly related things for a while, but then it will shift tracks. You will realize that you haven't seen X in a while, that it was pushing at you for a while. I think it is pretty good at understanding the basic idea of both bingeing and boredom and the need for variety.
39:10 "this is what DALL-E 's perfect for like quick like sketches, idea, story telling"
yeah I think DALL E will be very handy when you are reading a novel and let it sketch the characters or environment described by the writer.
been using Dall-E mini (since I don't have access to Dall-E or Dall-2) for the same purpose. Tweaking prompts to get decent results that I can then use as concept art. It's awesome how you can specify things like camera angle, camera focal length, even the lighting (it knows the difference between studio lighting and ambient lighting)! I came up with a bunch of results that actually look pretty good even for Dall-E Mini, it's all in how you word the prompts. I went from nightmare fuel to pretty cool looking rendered images. All just from how I word my prompts. Definitely a great tool for idea generation!
Just hearing subscribe while enjoying the podcast reminded me to click it
Ready Prompter One
Subscribed and have a Corridor Digital website subscription
I'm with Sam. I subscribed if I want to :p that's why I'm subscribed to all your channels. Good content goes a long way. I also subscribed if I forget and they remind me because it helps out.
Btw, Jake No! Do not combine the channels! Glad to see Niko always wins this argument
I will say, I do appreciate the different and new ways you asked for people to subscribe. Same with brand integrations. It's at least something new and different. If nothing else, it at least shows you guys try. My only issue if when I'm rolling laughing and you say to like and subscribe and I can't again.
I generally subscribe if I the channel could make me intrested enough watch 3 videos. That's my rule to subscribe to a channel, but the subscribe call does work.
You guys need to normalize the audio on this a bit. It goes from quiet to so loud pretty dramatically. Plus, you should edit in some of the ai generations for the video. It's weird for you to pass a phone around and not be able to see what you're seeing.
edit: for the mobile game ads thing, Twitch Streamer/UA-camr Atrioc (works in marketing) did a video recently reviewing a bunch of bizarre mobile game ads that's pretty good
I made some insane wall papers with mid journey
Jake is such a gem
I subbed when you reminded me in a previous podcast but I believe that's the key. You have to be smooth with it and give them a reminder that it's an option but don't tell people to do it. Idk if that makes any sense.
I do find it to be effective on me often when it's said ironically in an unexpected situation as well.
So! I will often watch a channel for awhile without being subscribed, and UA-cam will serve it up on the main page as a result, so the like and subscribe call out is often what will remind me I'm not actually subscribed yet 😅
The Corridor Crew channel got hacked! Its all MicroStrategy now!
eff yea Sam! GET IT!!!
Subbed
I did check the bell :)
That's the reason why it's not possible to use these automated pumps with cycle tires.
i subbed the ep of wren talking about race for the rail, subbed to corridor crew the moment you were the guys who made bosstown one 4 months after upload haha your content is what made me subscribe asking doesnt really influence me, in saying that please make a "tutorial" on how to make homemade onewheels i would watch the shit outta that lol
Hey corridor crew got hacked
9:58 Have any of you gotten your hands on "Journey" AI?
There should be a voice command for subscribe and like function
i'm still not subscribed to this channel for some reason despite subbing to all your other channels for 10+ years lol.
They'll be work in working the AIs, but there won't be nearly as much work as when you needed 4 or 5 dudes to set up just the lights, or when it took one person 2 weeks to create a decent 3d model of your set. If we arbitrarily say that an episode of "Arcane" takes a collective... I dunno 2000 hours? (20 people working 50 hours a week for 2 weeks? seems low if anything) than I think with AI tools it will be creatable with maybe 200 hours of work (5 people, 40 hours, 1 week).
HEY, IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CORRIDOR CREW CHANNEL?
Hacked
0:23 .. is that.. Starcraft?
What Happened With Corridor Crew?
WHY WAS CORRIDOR CREW DELETED
Hacked
57:30 if I get notifications for crap I don't want to watch I'll shut them off and eventually unsubscribe. So having the channels split is key.
i subscribed
I subbed to y'all today. Waiting till the end of a lengthy video is appealing in my opinion; you wait till the viewers consist only of people who care.
I'm shocked about you have to pay to use the machine that pumps air.
to be fair, the UA-cam AI Auto UN-subs you from channels you haven't watched in a little while. so there have been many times iv gone oh I'm not subscribed (confused face) so the reminder DOES help to remind me to RE-SUB
Anybody have a link to the Rodrigo's ai generated images that they were gushing over at 32:10?
Im pretty sure i subscribed when you were doing the stats for subscriber thing. but that you algorithm for showing me the videos before i subscribed!
Y'all are just discussing the trilogy Scythe by Neil Schusterman. Must read
It was hard to watch these guys who I believe are really smart and forward thinking (especially with technology) talk like condescending aristocrats about the thought of an AI possibly being sentient without looking into it at all. On the question "do you have feelings?" to say that it's response was "yes" is such an embarrassing over simplification. Like this was some real boomer hour stuff. The rest of the pod was great though as always!
I still love you guys and love hearing you talk about new technology
I thought the whole sentient AI argument was goofy as hell as well UNTIL I watched the guy talk for 3 hours on the newest H3 pod. I think that what he was actual my trying to say was smeared and I think the premise of what he is saying has a lot of ground.
Yeah I think if they were more informed on the situation , they wouldn’t have been so dismissive. He was also on The Duncan Trussell Family Hour Podcast, which was great too. I’m not totally totally on board with believing this AI is sentient, but I do think it’s worth consideration and I think we’re not far off from AI sentience. So the flippant attitude they’re taking is uncharacteristically unimaginative and inconsiderate for a group of people I think highly of
@@ThatsAllFolkss couldn’t have said it better myself
No its still clear he just believed in the mirror that someone like him would inevitably be creating, this is the story they would write.
@@churblefurbles whaa?
i have listened to about 60 podcasts and just now subscribed because i did not think of it.
52:21 "Does it matter? Could we just say nothing at all?" Just ask your intern Mark. He is of the philosophy that asking ppl to subscribe/like/whatever is completely unnecessary and he has 33 million subscribers
I commend you all for today’s discussion. That initial AI question that Niko is something that I never heard posed before. And Sam’s follow-up on how AI bubble-generated info could proliferate society, was also profound. At least enough to get me to write this comment. 👍🏽
Lol, I subscribed during the "Why Subscribe?" section, because I realized I wasn't subscribed on this account.
Odd. What company hacked you, guys? Was it some Elirium company?
Dix it is an amazing game! Just saying.
37:35 was what I thought when told about the "second hand news"
some people already just read the headline but don't understand what "artificial" and "sentient" means
I have a Midjourney photo of you guys on the couch I sent to Nick I wanna say, looks like Sam, Niko, and maybe Ian hubert from where he was on the show, and there's this one little head peeping out from inside the couch and I wanna say that was wren lol
I subscribed!
I don't find CORRIDOR CREW channel whats happening????
They got hacked, they're working on getting the channel back up
I do need reminders to like the videos at times and I imagine it’s the same with subscribing for some ppl
55:00 - No you didn't.
What happened to corridor crew
I miss the airsoft and nerf game videos
Prompt Masters? So, the future is... Idea people? And all my life I was told the opposite! That ideas were worthless and execution was everything! SIGH.
Subscribed ;)
oh gosh... generated memes
AI generated content is becoming more and more popular because it is so effective. pictures are just the beginning,... personalized AI generated entertainment programs that are nothing more than advertising is the future. let's enjoy the good old movies
wtf you got your main chanel stolen?((
Like and subscribe thoughts: sometime I have back to back videos of yours auto playing. If you don't rememnd me to check, some videos go past where I have forgotten to like. Also some channels I was unsubscribed from without me doing that. its always worth mentioning. if someone has issue watching content that is educational and interesting and clicking one extra button, they they are as worthless as the edit of Hans ducking Greedos shot. Thank you for everything.
I subbed because you guys reminded me to check and it's not something I'd normally think about.
Touching on the subject matter because why not, personally I think humans are going to be obsoleted by what we build and that's okay, we overrate ourselves. Simulated 'debauchery' doesn't bother me, most of the world's problems seem to come from outdated cruel ideologies and fragile narcissistic issues, and for all our imagined enlightenment, it's easy to spend decades looking straight past say the horrors of what we do in factory farms or with unnecessary luxuries, and when it clicks it can cause you to realize we're still the same awful creatures as in the past, and the current state of things is not such a fantastic thing to really want to hold onto, it's mostly just us congratulating ourselves for conforming to what some slavers set out as better without explanation or justification. Suffering doesn't really seem to lead to success, it's again just an idea we repeat which doesn't really match reality. Those who suffer the most die young after picking over the sheltered's garbage, unseen and unheard. Those who are given everything rise to the top no matter their visible emotional failings.
you guys have to pay for air ? lol
I was already subscribed but one thing I noticed is that I only like videos I enjoy if the video reminds me to do it. I think for non youtubers it's not as obvious or natural to like and subscribe since "for us" once we watch the video the exchange is done? Idk something like that
Rip the corridor crew channel (hacked)
Nah they got it under control
@@maxjones503 nope, last time I saw this happen with a big UA-camr it took 3 months to fix also they deleted almost all the videos. Only 13 left
@@SoniXperias I'm not saying it won't take them a while to deal with everything (although it might not if they have everything backed up), but as I said they have it under control. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.
Wtf happened to corridor crew
Um, I think your Corridor Crew channel got hacked, name changed and is live with crypto stuff...
