Instead of towels, you can use sawdust, or better yet your planer chips, to wipe up the excess glue. It works really well and the price is right.

The rack turned out great. I think everyone should think things through the way that you do on your projects. Always better to have a plan for what it might look like in the end vs. having to change things afterwards, when you don't figure on what else might be impacted by what you are doing. Multifunctional work areas are always the best.

Every man needs a Wonderful Woman like Rebecca to buy you great useful tools for around your country acres .
I myself never knew how much I would be using battery powered blower and chainsaw .
Just make sure you allow her to use them as well . Like the wrap around porches and any concrete pads . It's so much faster and cleaner than a broom .

Very hard to reach under a 24" shelf top, so you chose the exact size top. The veneer was way too . thin , but the bare spot should not detract from an otherwise excellent job.

Tip to keep your table on jointer or other woodworking tools. Apply Johnson Paste Wax will keep the surfaces from rusting and make slicker surface for wood to slide on.

Here is what they say the battery powered chainsaw have so much torque that chainsaw chaps will not stop the chain. So becareful! I use to have the floor model craftsmen joiner and the Dewalt planer. The biscuit joiner and all those tabs. But I do have a new joiner and plenty of wood glue and clamps.
