- Easter vlog from my native town.
I filmed the preparation for Easter celebration. We have nice Easter traditions in Ukraine - bake Paska, play Egg fights, go to the church in the morning. This holiday is bright and beautiful, I always try to spend this day with my family.
Desptite the constant air alerts we celebrated our favorite family holiday.

I was talking to my friend in Lviv, she went to the church with her Easter baskets at 5am !!!!!! I hope she did not fall asleep in the church 😁
When I was in school, we woke up at 3 am (I can’t believe it still 😂) and went to the church to take the line in order to consecrate a basket. It was Russian church so that’s why it was so weird and stupid system 😀

Mosquitoes love me, I don't love them 😅 your vlogs are so interesting I hope more people discover you and your world that you so kindly share with us. Despite the cruelty of war and stress you still have a smile on your face and enjoy the important things in life (when you can). To think there are horrible people who want to take it away instead of letting people just live their life in peace.

@@TaniaKovba If your mom uses yeast to prepare those, the process must be time consuming. Is the frosting as sweet as it looks? I could eat a whole one per day.
Yes, she always starts making paska at 3-4 pm and finishes after midnight. Because dough needs to stay for several hours before baking and she bakes up to 20 paskas 😄the top is sweet enough but it gives great balance with paska which is not super sweet.

Espectaculares esos panes dulces de Pascua, Ucrania debería exportar esas confituras a nivel mundial y darse mas a conocer. Felices Pascuas ortodoxos, acá en Uruguay aunque es un país laico, se celebra pascua o semana santa, fines de Marzo o principio de Abril según el calendario de la iglesia apostólica romana, con huevos de chocolate o roscas dulces con crema pastelera y huevos de chocolate, antes eran huevos comunes. Pero ya se esta perdiendo esa tradición ya es un negocio. Saludos.

It is good to see, that life goes on, despite the war. Here Easter has long been passed (Denmark is a protestant country). Take care and happy Easter to you.

@@TaniaKovba Interesting enough, there are different calendars, other than the Western-protestant one, we use e.g. in Denmark. But it seems that Ukraine has already put some distance to the Russian Xmas (?), so maybe Easter will be charged, too, who knows? It must be difficult to be Orthodox, when there are both Russian and Ukrainian calenders, that may overlap. Some people from both churches must be arguing who has got the "correct" Easter.
@@aarhusnord would be great to have different Easter with russia, but it seems difficult with these calendars😃I am confused why we celebrate Easter separately from majority of Western countries along with Greece and Israel for example 🤷♀️
@@TaniaKovba Do like the Poles with their Catholic Easter. I believe it is very much the same as protestant Easter.

Запрещают говорить и учиться на своём языке. Русский народ признан некоренным, хотя живут на этих землях веками.
