One of Duvone's best arrangements, no question. Exciting, holds your attention throughout, great execution by the players and they performed this much better than at the Prelims. And I love the finale....the last series of notes, shades of Jit's Iron Man. 😊👏👏

Just beautiful
The intro sets the stage for a magnificent stage performance. The percussion is strong and vibrant throughout. Renegades is one of my favorite orchestras. The steelpan musicians are geniuses and so talented to read and play music, and they demonstrate teamwork and collaboration. When I went to school in the 1960s, we didn't learn music. The school was poor for one of the largest primary/secondary public schools in Port of Spain (with a total of 700+ students). LOL BTW, I am watching this video from my living room in SoCal, on the 55-inch TV screen. I feel like I was there. 🥁🎶

Will they ever get quality microphones so people can hear and enjoy the true sound of pan? Our national instrument shouldn't always sound so underwhelming
In all fairness, this is was filmed from the back of the band, so you will hear more of the bases than the tenors. It sounds a bit different from the front

Yeah, unfortunately that what we deal with as spectators. Can’t control what goes on around us… Renegades, All Stars, and Exodus, were the most popular bands, so I think they had the most background noise
