I hear you, I’ve done a bit of gardening today & just know I will feel it tomorrow 😂
So many amazing resources, I imagine I’d have had a different journey with tarot if I’d have had that available in my teens.
It took me way too many purchases to realise other peoples passion & experience with a deck won’t necessarily be mine 🙈 these days if I’m contemplating a deck that I’m unsure of, I will find a full walkthrough & watch it on mute. Once I have it I love to watch my favourite UA-camrs talking about it!

Realising I could modify decks was such a game changer for me & has almost become a part of my bonding process. It never occurred to me before 🤯
I now have a bookcase purely for decks, which I call my Deck Cave 😂
The biggest thing for me is people like yourself generously sharing your ideas & practices to inspire the rest of us. Thank you thank you 🙏 🥰 (sorry for the ridiculously long comment, if I was brave enough I’d just do a VR!!)

Fomo was definitely one of my side effects. Took me awhile to get that under control. But bc of tarot tube, I’ve found decks and purchased that I love that I wouldn’t have purchased otherwise. 🎉fun video. Your arm thing happened to me. It was diagnosed pinched nerve and took a couple weeks to get better. Scared me. I was worried I’d had a stroke. Take care of yourself. Maybe get it checked out. Sending positive energy!

Your third point - not necessarily having the same experience as the TarotTube reviewer. Oh my.... The number of decks I bought early on because of this is astronomical. I'm glad I'm finally in a place where I know (generally speaking, of course) what I like and what works for me!
The way you described scuttling back into your cave after putting Deviant Moon away had me cackling 😅 I'm both fascinated and wigged out by it. I almost want to buy it just for the experience of its energy.

9:48 when I read about this deck and I saw the cards I loved it. When I saw people post their readouts from this deck online- I found I could not “read” it. Eventually I got it anyway and in person I *could* read it!! So many decks are just different when you have them! I wanted the 007/Tarot of the witches deck for so long and everyone calls it ugly but when I got it- I found it beautiful!
Also- when READING with a deck, it often feels so different than it does FLIPPING THROUGH a deck. A deck could be really boring when I flip through and read amazing. Or be really exciting on a flip through and absolutely not talk to me in readings. So I try to remember that looking at the cards is not enough to judge a deck. You have to work with it, and sometimes magic happens… sometimes nothing happens!!
Yes, I totally agree! Sometimes I'm not in the right place in my practice to appreciate, hear or understand the deck. I find that it "calls" to me when I'm ready to hear its messages. This has happened with a couple of decks that I've brought into my collection.

What a fun video! It is nice to know there are so many lovely people out there who share my obsession with tarot. FOMO is definitely a major issue for me as well, but there are so many very positive aspects to TarotTube. I so enjoy learning about how others interact with and respond to all the decks out there, and I especially like to learn about how others get on with decks that may not initially resonate with me. I’ve learned so much from watching TarotTube through the years.

There is even one deck that I saw when I was at Tarot Oracle’s house, that I’d seen on the channel and when I saw in person I just fell in LOVE with and… still when I see it on video it doesn’t impress me like it does in person. ❤
