You go to the Flamingo Visitor Center the day you plan on camping to sign-up for a campsite. They are first come first serve, so depending on the season you may want to get there early!

Most of the sites are now reserved ahead of time through Rec.gov but they do not require reservations between May 1 and Oct 1
