How much water, softener, and dye? It would be helpful to know the ratio.
How did they keep the middle white on that flower?
Make sure not to dip the whole flower, just the outer petals. :)
Well, that didn't work! Be more specific maybe - are you using warm or cold water - I used cold. Are you using the entire bottle of paint? I did not use the entire bottle, my flower has been soaking for over 5 minutes now and has not absorbed ANY color, it is still white. Suggestions not mentioned in your tutorial would be helpful, not happy since these were not exactly cheap.
Thank you for the suggestions @valerie. We will create a more detailed dyeing video tutorial and keep you updated. Meantime, please check a more comprehensive written tutorial here solawoodflowers.com/blogs/sola-school/how-to-dye-sola-wood-flowers-using-acrylic-paint . This post will answer your questions with regard to ratios etc.
Exactly no instructions at all after I dye all my flowers without the softener 😩
Hi Luz, you may still soften the flowers after dyeing or even after they have fully dried. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to use the sola softener. solawoodflowers.com/blogs/sola-school/how-to-use-sola-softener
