I think this is an indictment of ambushing more than Goblin Wolf nomads. If the beatstick came blasting down the field, or actually showed up at all they'd probably have done something
Funnily enough I was just watching the live recording of this! An exclusive to members - for those who aren't aware As a dwarf player, this does a good job to show why lots of "unplayable" units, aren't actually that bad. Suboptimal, maybe, but that only matters competitively. I would still love to see our magic lockdown improved next edition / go back to having a magic phase, so I could throw more dice at the really spooky stuff/vortex's! Could be a bad take though tbf :D
I do love the meta shift towards big deathstar bricks of infantry like Luka was talking about. I really like infantry amd would have fielded aies with a lot of them anyways. This just gives me a good excuse. Slaaneshi chosen with halberds, banner of rage, and a character with enchanting aura is so incredibly strong.

And did I hear that right - Champ challenging? 14:50 How are Saurus and Chaos Warriors being used? Sorry for all the questions, I just really like infantry and when I hear that they aren't actually as bad as people think I wanna know more :D
@@Gamecapturevideo Do I need to be a pro to call out a rule that allows totally weird unit formations that look unimmersive and absolutely NOT like classic Warhammer? I'm pretty sure line hammer is not how infantry was supposed to be played which is the reason why the lads from Mountain Miniatures intentionally don't play like that (which they mentioned in a previous video).

Yeah I feel you, it was convenient to just shut down any remains in plays, but I'm not sure if it was a fun mechanic or not looking back....
