    Hello, I use this tripod together with a Sachtler ACE tripod head and I am very satisfied and can only recommend this combination for wildlife filmers. Greetings from Germany, Bernie

    I own this tripod, in green camo with the rock pouch. I use the rock pouch to hold lend caps, shutter release... etc....

    Hi Moose! I have a couple of tripods here that were purchased before I understood that a tripod is more than just three legs. When one cannot do those fine adjustments, frustration becomes the boss. Thanks for another great instructional.

    thanks for the tutorial. And you solved a mystery for me as well. In the tons of stuff my adult kids have left in my home, I never knew what the camo cover was for that I found. Now I know it fits the tripod that was also left behind 😅 will have to investigate the tripod and camera left behind as well. Looking forward to your future videos Moose! Have an awesome day!

    Hey Moose! Good seeing you again. And thank you for this info video. I’m getting back into landscape photography and just ordered a new camera body so I was looking at tripods. This is a great recommendation!

    • @MooseHenderson1
      @MooseHenderson1  10 місяців тому +1

      This may be a bit overkill for landscape but they make similar tripods that are much lighter and more suited for landscape work

      I’m going to take a look at the brand. It sounds like it’s quality overall. I like the value proposition for sure

    Nice video, Moose.
    If I ever go bigger in the tripod department, I'll definitely keep this one in mind.
    What I really need is a smaller lightweight one perhaps about 4ft high maximum. Think motorcycle..

    I too bought the tripod after watching your first review for my 16mm film cameras, and I followed your channel since then. What a roller coaster these last three years have been. The number of times you pushed through adverse situations, while remaining positive, and trying to make the best of it, was always inspiring. Hope to see your daughters visiting you for a family wildlife photography week - or just BBQ :)

      Thanks so much. I am headed to visit my daughters in January and one of my daughters will come to Niagara Falls with me in the summer. She wants to see the Falls, I want to spend time with her, a win-win.

    I cannot understand why Photography UA-cam experts post grainy or out of focus videos. Photographers should have the best quality videos on UA-cam from my non-expert opinion.

    Hi Moose, thanks for sharing, and I totally agree regarding stability!. And for the European viewers: it seems that this tripod in sold under "ROLLEI" brand in Europe. All the best, Michael

    Hello Moose, I am new to wild life photography ( I purchased a used Nikon D500 and 200-500mm lens). I am also a new Casita owner, picked ours up in June. Thank you for your detailed review of all your equipment and useful comments. I am looking for a good tripod, the one you use is a perfect fit.
    I also have a Think Tank bag, love it and very comfortable when hiking. Be well my friend and so nice to of found your channel.

    Thanks for the review… It makes sense to insert each leg extension in a little ways for stability, but assuming a relatively short overall height for the tripod is sufficient, would you also prioritize collapsing the bottom extension for stability, since it's slightly thinner than the extensions above it?

    • @MooseHenderson1
      @MooseHenderson1  9 місяців тому

      Yes, the bottom leg has less diameter but I have found it very stable

    I have my Innorel 80C and its stability is superb but 2 (out 3) thumb latches are already busted and from time to time I have to to glue the rubbers of the leg locks.

    • @MooseHenderson1
      @MooseHenderson1  10 місяців тому

      I have never used the 80c and the RT90c does not have thumb latches, maybe that is a design flaw of the 80c, I would contact Innorel for replacement latches

    Innorel RT90C gets a lot of praise. Is there a reason why it is more popular than lets say Innorel ST424C?

    • @MooseHenderson1
      @MooseHenderson1  6 місяців тому

      I am not familiar with ST424C, maybe because of its size and extra sturdiness

    • @ContentComposer
      @ContentComposer 6 місяців тому +1

      @@MooseHenderson1 Ok thanks, on paper ST424C has Max. Tube Diameter 42 mm/Max. Load 42 kg/Max. Height 170 cm for DSLR Travel Without Centre Axle. And still lighter than RT90C. So should be a serious option as a sturdy an stable tripod.

    It’s a testament to its quality.
