  • Wolverine Movie Maker Pro 8mm to Digital Review and Set Up Tips - Transfer old 8mm movies to mpeg4 format.
I found some old family 8mm and Super 8 film, so I bought a Wolverine Movie Maker Pro and converted old film to digital. Check out the final product in the end. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. The films range from 50 to 60 years old.

I'm about to order the pro. You did a very good job and I learned a lot. I was surprised about the 8mm issue, I never heard that before and I've watched scads of videos on this machine.

Thanks Dale. Glad I could help. It took me a couple rolls to realize the 8mm issue, but once I did, my life was much easier. Have a great one.

Here’s a question. Just an estimate please. How many 50’ reels will fit on a 32 GB card? And, is there a warning when disk space is out? Thanks.

I only had eight 3 inch reels to convert (I think they are 50 feet). I put them all of them on the card without getting a warning for disk space. From what I read, you can fit 19 3" reels on 32 gb card. Hope that helps.

I’m hoping you will see this message a year later. I just got this device today, the one that takes up to 9in reels. I previously had one that fit only up to 5in, and I never had any problems. As I’m setting this bigger one up, I keep getting the message “Please connect the power supply” whenever I hit the record button. Obviously it’s plugged in already. Does anyone know how to get past this weird error message? It doesn’t go past that message, so I haven’t recorded anything yet.

I would definitely contact the manufacturer on that one (if you bought it new or if you can't find the answer on the web). If used, contact the seller, see if it happened to them, and what was their work around.

Try switching the film type switch. I did that with mine, and it worked better on the wrong film type. Weird I know, but it worked.

@@jcgtv3692 Try the tried-and-true method of unplugging for 10 seconds and plugging back in. Re-thread the film making sure it is threaded correctly. If that doesn't work, I would contact the manufacturer.
