it's funny that you mentioned linkin park considering the fact that xdinary heroes literally just interviewed them for gq korea lmao, i'm loving this album rn!! thanks for the reaction, i can always count on you for xdinary heroes appreciation
I love xdinary heroes so much bc they’re not scared to do their own thing, they said they wanted to try Hard/rock metal and they went all the way through it! No hesitation. The songs lyrics are great, sounds very personal too. I’m glad you appreciated their work 😭❤️
your reactions are so good! Also I love how you always appreciate their vocals even if you don’t like the song as much, their one of my favorite groups
I don't usually like music with a lot of screaming but instead is SOO fkn good! Definitely agree with what you said about it needing to be the title track ❤ Also 16:35 to answer your question, I'm pretty sure he's saying "instead"
i looove your xdinary heroes reactions because i know you can appreciate talent and production regardless of if the songs are smth you’d normally listen to🩷 but i saw drowning by WOODZ in the recommended videos at the end and i HAVE to ask if you’ve ever checked him and his music out, i’m so curious what you’d think!
This was by far my favorite album of their's. In the past, I feel like they musically fell into too many kpop rock cliche's, but now they're diversifing more musically by blending metal and more punkier elements, instead of vearing more into pop, that I personally like it more. I think it's more interesting, but I also think it suits them better. (actually I kinda think of metal + pop to be very korean and japanese, but I meant in kpop chord progressions) 8:54 I know exactly what you mean. I also don't know music theory well enough to explain it. someone explain it!! BUT the one kpop song that I really love that does what I think your talking about, is skipping stones by txt, but it's because the guitar's distorted in a kinda 90's grunge/creep way, and their vocals kinda do a yodel thing through the start of every verse, and the lyricism. and bc the song builds really nicely. It was a lot of other elements that pull it off.
NOT SURE WHY I CALLED MY KING CHESTER, SPENCER.

Yesss Skipping stones is similar in the chorus but it doesn’t revert back into the major chords I love in save me
Instead has a concert video where the feature YB went to their show to sing it, so good!

I did on Patreon!
You don’t react to XG anymore? :)
