Nah, usually they just go back to getting destroyed. I've seen this hype train 4 or 5 times - Italy squeezes out a win and everybody starts going "oh it starts now" then they go back to being bad.@@sgsrider00
Italy have always been my second team in the 6 nations after my own and well done boys. You always come out and fight like legends and you got the result. Even better 80% of that squad is Italian home grown and developed talent, unlike Scotland trying to buy their way to victory with less than half being home grown, historic victory and hopefully the start of something magical.
I'm happy too for Italy but let's avoid lies - Italy does not have 80% home-grown talent. All three try-scorers are non-Italians, as well as Negri, Vintcent, Page-Relo, Ioane, Capuozzo. That's 8 of the starting 15. If you want to look at the 23, it's 9 out of 23, which means 61% home-grown.
The U 20 squad shows there is a new talented generation with very good chances of winning more matches. But to be really competitive, Italy needs to have more than two professional teams (club or franchise). Look at how many players in this squad are playing in other countries, mostly in France. Same for Scotland , two clubs, and Wales has 4, many of their best players are attracted in england or France.

the DJ at the stadium was the x-factor, never seen such atmosphere (italia chants all the time, techno during the scrum, etc.)

Both good players but have no real opportunity for higher honours.

The technical advantage for Italy has been that they didn't expect Italians would have used kicks so frequently and thus they had only an extreme on the opposite side of the play! It happened almost for all the three Italians' scores!

And we are glad to have them. Together with our trainer Quesada they brought a great contribution to the Match yesterday and they continue to bring even a greater contribution to the whole rugby movement in Italy. God bless them.
