That thing you hear at the end was done in multiple steps. Basically the auto tune was done first. Then the pitch bending was added later. But so what? It's still interesting and unique! Many instruments use effects to achieve particular sounds. Why should the human voice be any different? Some people will appreciate the purity and talent of Elvis and Freddie Mercury. And others will appreciate the engineering and production behind so many modern artists. And most of us can appreciate both. A good song is a good song regardless of the tools used to make it.
