Yes working conditions are grim, but what would these people do to feed their families if the factory was closed…easy to apply your standards from where you are sat.
OSHA inspectors would have a heart attack seeing them working in flip-flops and no pretection of any kind. They would close that business in two seconds.
What's the point of throwing something on the floor only to have to pick it up again to take it to a new area and do the exact same thing? Do they just enjoy making more work for themselves or do they just not understand the concept of Double Handling?
Agreed, that bugs me - I'm a factory worker, minimizing wasted effort and time is an essential and BASIC part of efficiency - keeps costs down, improves product quality. I know they can pay some kid $3/year to pick up those parts, that's not a good reason though.
Estas personas son trabajadoras 100%, lástima que siendo un país donde abunda la miseria, sean explotados por bajos sueldos y en condiciones de trabajo infrahumana!
That's not what @sjb3460 means. It's all about the accuracy of the right angle of the axis to the sidewall (should be exactly 90 degrees). When it was turned off, it was clearly visible that one of the three discs was wobbling. This disc, at least, would be scrap in precision engineering. But this Vid is not about precision but rather about rough mechanics and such small tolerances are general accepted.
You guys need to do several things to get better results: 1. after using your torch, knock the slag off the cut parts. 2. Before you clamp your round stock on the arbor, get a grinder and get all of the slag off the plates before you clamp them together. If you do that, the plates will be flat against each other. Right now, you have so much junk on the plates, they are not touching each other and they will be crooked when you cut the gear teeth.
Вы серьезно, разрезать профильную трубу, на которую была затрачена энергия, выпрямить в сомнительно плоский лист, а потом порубить на треугольники хрен знает для чего? Отходов другого производства нет?
Do the workers in the videos get paid for being in the videos? I bet the owner of the "factory" keeps all the money and gives the workers an extra slice of bread as a bonus.
You know the answer to that one. Workers get treated like nothing. For workers in the western part of the world there were are a short relief from 1776 until now. As USA is failing we all going back to the good old ways,
No OH&S here but they are the ultimate recyclers for sure. If you steal away these workers to a modern factory with decent wages you would still make a fortune.

The Internet has questions!
@4:23 What are these point/hook kind of things used for?
@55:35 What are the red painted wooden rounds used for?

I strongly believed, they have to wear safety shoes and face musks for safety.

I do it in my job, as an engineer, because I'm too lazy to do it twice.
9:02 Perfect casting. Right down to the Honda logo.

Amazing those wood working guys still have all their fingers.
They only show the ones who do.
It's a wonder any of them has eyes, toes or fingers! I guess those few extra coins to ihe Imam must be doing some good. Who needs PPE anyway? 🙄
I can tell that Health & Safety are a priority in these businesses

You don’t understand the culture in Pakistan. Nothing changes, simply do what your grandfather did.

Don't you guys know how to engage the feed on a lathe? If you did, you wouldn't have to hand crank the cutting tools.
With such old and neglected machines, probably it is not working.
