At 1:12 there's a musical shift as you hit the chord for the beginning of the chorus: ♫ "Every cloud has a silver lining"♪. (love the melodic lift on "lining"). At 1:21 we just have to adore the melody and your wonderful vocals on; ♫ "For the one who cares"♪. Then how the melody goes down on the line 1:28; ♫ "For the new generation"♪; plus your gorgeous lower register voice on the following; ♫ "Their minds will reach so much further than now"♪. The chorus is a masterpiece of songwriting and you sing it splendidly! 🤗
One could envisage Strings coming in at 1:12 on the chorus; but the song has such melodic strength, that the sound of just you and the piano makes it a delightful piece of music to appreciate! 🎼🎼
At 2:39 we are in for a treat; as you perform the piano solo impeccably. It's pretty and emotionally moving; plus it's arranged beautifully with the help of Ovidio De Ferrari. 🎹
You go up a key for the repeat of the chorus at 3:31. Then at 3:45 it's great how you look at the camera singing the line; ♫ "There is hope"♪. If the song had an orchestra score; it would be interesting the impact of a musical build, that could be arranged for end of this song! However it's very powerful on it's own merit! @@EmilyLinge and i ask myself why i even bother to play..attempt to play anything on my Yamaha..all the bells and whistles..i just keep it on Portable Grand🤣and while many tell me my voice is my best asset,attempting to both Play and sing...They just Rob and plunder fromeachother...self thought Piano..no read music...play by (gifted) ear..which may help to explain why my ear or those of others hurt...sometimes.

@@markschafer7510 Mark to learn to integrate singing and playing , 1st try just learning a bunch of simple patterns to outline chords..... and play them endlessly,. thern add singing a fixed tone with the chord arpeggiations. eventually it sinks in and becomes automatic.
