Helped me a lot. And don't skip any steps, the one with the fan and cooling is really important. And don't worry about possibly breaking some plastic pins, when everything is back in tact, it doesn't affect the console's work.
Just a heads up for anyone watching this in the future, you'll need a T10 as a T8 is a touch too small. That said thank you for this tutorial, it's helped me clean my "new" 360 i picked up at a yard sale.
Thank you for the guide, it was extremely helpful. For those of us that have never taken apart our 360 before I ran into a bit of a snafu when putting it back together that I think is helpful to mention for everyone... When reconnecting the cable that connects to the power button make sure to remove any little bit of dust before clipping it back in because I put it all back together and tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on so I opened it back up, cleaned that off and make sure it is all the way in... and it turned on no problem. I was concerned I caused an issue deeper in the machine so don't fret this may be what happened to you. Now its working like a charm!

Man, this video helped me a lot, my Xbox had stopped recognizing the hard drive. I was so close to shitting myself since they are kind of rare and expensive but a good cleaning later and it is back to business as usual. Good thing the hard drive is easy to take off and clean without needing to gut out the whole console.

I just did this and there's an easier way than popping all that plastic apart! All you need is a small Flathead eyeglasses kit or just a small thin flathead. Press it through the big rectangle openings around the plastic as you will find when you pry in and outward you'll feel the tabs release, there's no need to pop off the middle plastic and break it.
