That is the loveliest cardigan for your granddaughter. She is a lucky girl. Also like the quilt. I have many built in stitches on my sewing machine and I use the decorative stitches for much of my quilting. This is Christmas Eve so I send you greetings.
Thank you, knitting lace patterns on a top down cardigan is so challenging, I must admit I prefer the old way knitting in the flat from the bottom to the top, you can decipher the pattern easier and pick up mistakes so much easier with lace patterns. Happy new year xx
Hi Mandy! Your quilt is beautiful! Deb Strain lives not far from me. I love her designs. All of your makes are so nice and what a beautiful daughter. Do your daughters craft? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🥰
I love Deb strain fabrics too. That was my eldest daughter who wants to learn crochet at the moment she needle felts. I have 3 daughters and they all paint and draw so are artistic and they love cooking and bake and decorate beautiful cakes. My eldest granddaughter is artistic and studied art, my other granddaughter is only 7 and enjoys visiting so she can sew and make things on my sewing machine, so we are all crafters 😊 my youngest granddaughter is only 4 and is starting to show an interest she too loves crafting and colouring xx happy new year to you Sally and your family xx
Hi Rachel, no I just used a walking foot and kind of shadow quilted the seams I used an embroidery function on my sewing machine for one of the borders xx happy new year to you and your family xx
The Glory Of Autumn cross stitch finish is stunning, well done on such an amazing finish, have you plans for a new cross stitch start and are you doing wipgo next year..........I'm thinking of giving it a try. Have a lovely peaceful Christmas Mandy, God bless you, Kim.
Thank you Kim, hope you too have a lovely peaceful Christmas. Yes I will be participating in WIPGO for 2025, just need to sort my board out which I download from the Facebook group WIPGO 2025. I will put the projects I did not manage to finish and also thinking of incorporating small crosstitch pillows as my projects. Also would be good to make one for crafts again as I have quite a few unfinished craft projects and kits I have had for Christmas. Love WIPGO. I want to finish my Hawk run Hollow and then start a piece I have seen in the primitive quilts and projects magazine just deciding on the fabric to use xx
@@whatmandymadenext8120 Plenty to keep you busy there, I'll look forward to seeing your choices for wipgo 2025, I just took a look around the Liberty Bell website, I was thinking of getting a kit, but I can only see the patterns. Do you know if she kits up her patterns on request. I finished a lovely Hen and Chicken kit a little time ago, although I don't remember where I bought it from. x
Hi Kim, after clicking on fabric patterns and threads, scroll down and click on liberty bell patterns and kits and then fabric characters or you can email Sue at Liberty bell mailto:info@liberty-bell.co.uk and ask her if she can kit up a particular pattern and what the price would be. The good thing is they are working on a new website so hopefully more fabrics will be shown too. But if you go to fabric characters that’s where I get my kits and if there is anything I have shown and you want to make e.g. gingerbread banner then ring her or email Sue and she will let you know if she can kit up, she is very helpful. There are also kit subscriptions under the wool camp banner xx
I really really love your video's but...the music is só loud (on 30 on my laptop). Or youre talking so soft (almost on 70 if I want to hear it clearly). Can you try to choose less loud music (I don't know if that is possible, maybe the volume can be turn down by you) in the next video's please.
Hi Mandy, thank you for sharing all your crafty creations, there all so beautiful. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year🎉.
Thank you, happy Christmas to you and a happy new year xx

@ So wonderful to have a family of artists and crafters! 😁
So many gorgeous projects Mandy. Can I ask how you did the quilting on the quilt? Was that free motion with a ruler? ❤
