I just moved to LA when Loop was in town. I wish I had the right mind to purchase tickets well in advance. This was a great presentation on the philosophy of listening. He's a great sound artist as well.
Super important! Thanks for your great work and this very articulated and anthropo-poetic presentation. It's funny cause i listen to your work and by hasard i thought yesterday about David Dunn. Ok, thanks again and take care, Martin Leduc
I notice this as a photographer also, where the 2d image loses what struck me about the scene, and learning how to evoke that rather than some idea of realism. Working closer is often the case. I am also struck by the Aristotelian notion that the being in a theater audience is a participatory act. I found the demonstration here a great way to notice how my attention moved.
