    After watching this video and hearing you describe the frames, I purchased 5 of them from the seller you mentioned.You are 100% correct that they are good "solid" frames, but the spring saddles on All 5 were not straight. I had to literally use a hammer on the walker to get it close to straight, then grind it flat. All the others needed some grinding to get them back to specs. Just wanted others will know there is "some" finish work needed on the spring saddles to make the frames usable. :-)

    One of your best videos, thanks for the explanation of the ebay machines!

    yes its usable the coils look like it has a bobbin but it is actually wound on the core just has black plastic washers . that is a shader , as always replace springs with a set of shader springs and set rear spring tension low 400g

    yes was doing it as a hobby for the art of it , i charged basically what it cost. so i will be showing you how to do it yourself now , how to customize things like the heat coloring video and how to make custom parts , I have one shader im doing to be sold publicly soon

    ebay don't recall seller they are very tall and they will need some thick yokes after replacing the coils at least on shader ,

    Excellent video! I wish there was a little more detailed discussion of function regarding the various spring lengths and thickness. I suppose a little more on coil height and thickness comparatively to function. Still don't let me sell short the value of the information that was presented.

    between the extra washers and the gap think about the loss of wire used, they are like half as strong as a regular coil all fancy and shit but only use on a liner

    wow thank you thank you thank you so much for the information in this video it has helped me so so much. Actually all of your videos have helped me. So Thank you. Since I believe i am way too old to go back to a formal apprenticeship. I have a family to support but tattooing has become a passion over the last few years. Art has been a passion forever. Just a different medium. So again thank you.

    I could but if I did it all in one video I would loose people . I have to keep myself from going down rabbit holes in order to stay on topic , I will cover it , or may have in other videos I think I said more about coil height and power in a Q & A video

    Great video man! Are there any china machines that have good springs? What's the difference to Infinite Iron spring to other springs?

    hey just wanted to say something bout one of the machines on here the machine at 16.30 with the bright blue capacitor , i actually got that machine i got it from a different seller then the one in this video but it does work great for color packing and shading,It can handle big needle groupings and the springs it came with are pretty good shading springs.Its a good solid and heavy frame only thing you could change is the a bar. Thanks for the good vids man, keep it up!

    that one im not so sure about it is NOT made by the same people who make the bulldogs i use, I used a frame from that company once and I had to do lots of correcting to the frame . the spring deck was croocked and made the armature didnt lay flat they show a yoke in th epic but they dont always install them that way .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING
    @TATTOOTRAINING  11 років тому

    all 5 ? the black machines ? they don't make a walker , I used a different maker for walkers , they make a dial that was the one i had to make cuts and rebraze , after a few of them I never used the dial again too much work . the homa , bulldog and S frame were all good they are cast . you don't want to go grinding spring addles cuz it will fuck with the fit of the coil/yoke and becomes tricky to get armature to lay flat .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING
    @TATTOOTRAINING  11 років тому

    that's what I said the armatures are tooo light for long stroke shader/color work even if you superglued a very small lead weight to the end it would be a cheap quick fix

    @TATTOOTRAINING  11 років тому

    the manufactures I only know one of them Xiamen panther it is very hard to find them and the price is the same as if you just pay the 12 bucks on ebay from a retailer , your not going to get any cheaper than what I am showing you and still have usable shit

  • @TATTOOTRAINING
    @TATTOOTRAINING  11 років тому

    no I never use them as china machines #1 problem is poor quality of material. they don't get WHY certain things are supposed to be a certain way , they just copy shit I really only use frames and build everything else but the springs I get from infinite , infinite is just using blue steel stock . its been heat annealed and rolled , and they cut to size, vs others , who are very generic . shape , thickness, and material quality is very important with springs .

    yes all they do is paint them they dont do any finish work . covered that a little in the heat treating video how much filing to smooth it out needs to be done , because they are CAST
