༄༅།། རྒྱ་ནག་གཞུང་གིས་བོད་པ་ཚོ་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་གནས་མཇལ་དུ་བསྐྱོད་རྒྱུར་བཀག་སྡོམ་བྱེད་བཞིན་པའི་སྐབས་འདིར། ཨ་རིའི་རླུང་འཕྲིན་ཁང་གིས་རྒྱ་གར་གྱི་ནང་པའི་གནས་ཆེན་ཁག་ལ་མི་སྣ་ཆེད་གཏོང་གིས་བཟོ་སྐྲུན་བྱས་པའི་ནང་པའི་གནས་ཆེན་ཁག་གི་ངོ་སྤྲོད་དེ། སྟོན་པའི་ཞབས་རྗེས་ཞེས་པའི་བརྙན་འཕྲིན་ཚན་པ་ཁག་ཅིག་བཟོས་ཡོད་པའི་ཁོངས་ནས་དེ་རིང་ཆོས་སྡེ་ཆེན་པོ་དཔལ་ནཱ་ལེནྡྲའི་ངོ་སྤྲོད་ཀྱི་ཚན་པ་དེ་གོ་སྒྲིག་ཞུས་ཡོད།
For over a thousand years, going to India and Nepal where the Buddha was born and achieved his enlightenment was one of the most important journeys for a Tibetan. But in current times, the Chinese government has forbidden Tibetans from going on this spiritual pilgrimage. Those who have clandestinely attempted to make the pilgrimage have been arrested, imprisoned, and even shot to death as pilgrims cross the Himalayas. This special nine-part documentary series helps Tibetans in Tibet make this pilgrimage virtually. Today’s episode is on Nalanda university which was founded at least 2500 years ago.
