What do you use to prime your eyes?
I always use the Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer (shop-links.co/...) and I set that with a translucent powder.
I really like your idea of being more mindful about which products you add to your collection and rediscovering the products you own already! Many of us have added to our collections and are busting at the seams! I have a hard time using it all, storing it all. I also have pangs of guilt about all the money that I've spent. I hope more people on UA-cam embrace this idea about exploring what they own and using those products in different ways.
Besides this channel ❤, I also recommend that you check out Julia Adams and Lauren Mae Beauty, if you haven’t already. They do shop my stashes, and usually reuse a lot the products that they love, so they inspire me to do the same. They also review new makeup, but that isn’t their main focus. For a very minimalist approach and reflections about reducing spending and sort of anti-hauls, you may like Hannah Louise Poston 😉
That eye look is everything!!!! I like your idea about being mindful of what you add. I would love seeing videos of “older” makeup that you still love, etc.
I can't imagine as a UA-camr how much make up you get. I'm sure it is overwhelming. I actually went through my eye shadow palettes the other day and got rid of like 15, most never even used. It feels nice to declutter and then reorganize in a way that makes sense. I found things I forgot I even had.

Keep an orange wood stick handy to open your clip products. Works good for me, no more broken nails for me trying to open that type product.

Love, we get it. This is your job. Declutters can be hard-but in order for them to be fun to watch (which they often are) you don’t need to process a mountain of guilt onscreen. We understand-or at least, most of us do, and you should aim your content at people who like and support you, not those looking for a reason to criticize. Be kind to yourself. You’re doing fine!
Honestly thank you for your comment. Sometimes I don't realize the amount of guilt I carry, and I get that that isn't fun to hear about on UA-cam. I'm just trying to be more raw and open on my channel! But you are right, I should aim my content at the people who already support me and not the haters :)

This is literally how I deal with my makeup. I don't have a massive collection but I always look at what products I actually use before buying new products (which isn't too often since I try to use everything I have)

Super cute hair! And very nice eye look too! It's nice to see a declutter with the intention of keeping a collection more curated, so often you see a declutter followed up by massive hauls to reclutter. Or someone declaring a low buy, and then announcing they bought hundreds of dollars worth of products the next month. I understand for many it's their jobs but I am personally over it. My annual budget is $250 for the entire year! Anything this declutter was very inspiring, enjoy your downsized collection and truly getting the most enjoyment out of your products!

Hey, Angela for future declutter videos I think if you set aside all the products away from the camera and went over them one by one that would be more fun to watch. AND show us the ones that you are NOT decluttering too. The video might a bit longer but that's not an issue and it would definitely be more pleasurable to watch, also you'd be going through products more thoroughly Cheers
The video would be hours long if I talked about every single product! I really just needed to get this stuff out of my collection. That's why Im doing a makeup inventory next week so you can see everything that I did keep :)

To making better make-up decisions! 🍻 I am slowing down on purchasing and being more intentional. I have always been very rational when it comes to shopping. The pandemic bought out the monster in me. That coupled with exploring make more than ever. I'm over it, and will enjoy what I have!
Great Idea! We all need an evaluation of stuff we have stored in our drawers and closets that we actually don’t use! I do this 3 times yearly in all cupboards and closets and give away to Good Will! They appreciate the donations,especially at Womens shelters.👍

I recently bought 5 pairs of your half lashes! They came highly recommended by Samantha March. I love them!!!! I’m just beginning to wear lashes again after almost 50 years! I wore them everyday from age 18-24. I’m realizing that, while all looks are still beautiful without lashes, some looks just demand the extra touch!Thank you for a wonderful product!

Your eyes look GORG, I did a declutter recently too. And what’s funny is, u got rid of most of the products I got rid of, I quit quite a few brands and colour pop is one of them. I don’t buy to buy anymore, I have to really really like the product, it has to intrigue me before buying it. Can’t wait to see all the videos u have in store for us, 😘❤️
I think Colour Pop puts out too many different pallettes lol. I bought one of their pallettes last year and I do like the formula as well as the colors. But some of their pallettes are just too....garish for my taste.

Over the years Ive stopped buying single shade eyeshadows and purchasing pallettes instead. I do like the Thrive Cosmetics shadow sticks though.

Question. What type of smell are you looking for to determine it’s gone bad? Some makeups have a scent so it can throw me off sometimes
It would just smell different than it normally smells! When my kosas concealer went bad it smelled like paint lol

I loved this video and the way your videos are moving. I am a sucker for eye palettes, but some of the ones I bought at the start of my new make up tutorials (now that I’m back into it) but the formula on some are just unusable! I’ve been donating makeup for years and every place is different. Gently used is usually acceptable at most places
I love how she says the mascara is old and was opened last summer....my thoughts going to the fact that I still have the mascara I bought and opened in 2019 😅
Mascara is only supposed to be open for like 3 months 🙈 crazy right!

This is my first giant declutter in YEARS. I see a lot of beauty UA-camrs do this big of a declutter yearly 👀 I do lots of giveaways! I actually send makeup out to my followers all the time who comment on my posts, send me DMs, etc. If you engage with my content a lot you might get something :)
