We did it I was trumpet but it was very successful after practice
that was fun to listen. im 65, reminded me of high school band . a fun part of life.

I bought this score back in 2011 and had it played at numerous bands I conducted but the one band that absolutely aced it (and I dare say, sounded even better than this recording!) was a high school in Canberra, Australia. Flawlessly performed at many outdoor performances and it made me so proud. Such dedicated students that kept persisting and never settled for 'that'll do'. Wish I had it recorded!!

We play this 1.25 speed and still everyone (including me) think it’s too easy

This Hal Leonard Channel has a version arranged specifically for marching band and KT choose to perform the concert band version. It's a very bold decision.
@@angelicamartacahyaningtyas9083 Very late reply, but to be fair, the performance in question was a stage performance with a percussion pit. The concert version makes much more sense. Now if they were actually marching it'd be a different story.

the fingering 0:44 is a nightmare for clarinet.
C and a, for c you need every finger down and they have to cover the hole perfectly or you get a loud squeak, and a you have to use your pointer finger, lift it off the hole, and stretch it back to reach the a key, not imagine doing that fast, back and fourth. Hell
its fine, maybe I just suck lol

Oh yeah. It took me a few times to play that part perfectly. But I think this piece is really fun to play on clarinet.
