😂😂😂😂 He said the 3rd row is useful especially if you find out you have a couple of kids that you didn't know about!!!
I laughed so hard!!! hahahah
Lmaooo
Joe is the best in the business
Neighbours kids I guess lol
You must be new here. The same 7 jokes are recycled in every video 🤣
OMG ACURA! 😍 This is why I'm so decated to the brand and never gave up on them
Ok
Awesome in-depth tour on the 2022 Acura MDX! Honestly you deserve way more subs and views for all the time and effort you put into this awesome content you are so underrated!
Thanks for saying that man! Lori and I actually filmed it this morning, and then I got it edited on uploaded.
@@RaitisRides Lori is the WOMAN! Thank YoU for AlWaYs acknowledging her. You guys are a great team!
Joe, thank you for your information and humor. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed using your videos over the past two weeks as we decided which 3rd row SUV to purchase. After about 10 failed attempts to track down and to buy a Telluride or Palisade, we ultimately chose the Acura MDX. We will miss doing research, but will continue to watch you just for entertainment. As my wife said, “I can’t imagine going with hearing ‘On Throttle! Here we go!’. Thanks for your professionalism. Jim and Denise.
going without hearing*
Meanwhile my mom is still rocking her 2006 acura mdx
That is so great to hear!
my grandpa aswell, loves it
@@Al3x4nd3er very cool!
my dad is still using 2001 mdx
Same for me but my wife and I think this new model is going to be the one we change for. We want to wait and see how the type s looks though it looks like exactly what we want.
I’m so glad Acura Updated the MDX interior it really needed it.
Same with the new TLX, such a pleasant cabin to be in
Just bought this 2022 Aspec model. Traded in my X5 and couldn’t be happier. Acura quality,4 year warranty, great resale and plenty of tech ( really like the interchangeable digital dash). Drives like it weighs much less 👍🏼, make your own drive mode is nice and great looks! The nav pad does take some getting use to but in time will be fine. Would recommend but if you see one don’t wait ! In 2021 the vehicle shortage is real!
how is it better than a X5? was it an old X5?
@@napim6752 sorta. 2015.
I really like what Acura is doing with their products lately! I would really love to see them bring back CL with the new TLX styling. I saw one of the new TLX's and you really don't appreciate how wide and low it is until you see it in person.
CLX and a entry sports car RSX and mid sports car MSX and a 4 door NSX coupe and a ZDX top trim Type S Hybrid to compete against Urus
Great review Rai!!! I couldn’t keep together after u popped the trunk with those Twinkie’s there. Lmao And also shout out to Laurie for always keeping the camera still during recording lol. Big fan keep up the great work guys !!
Reason majority of manufacturers don't mount the rear wiper at the top of window is because its not as efficient at keeping the rear window clean.
GM has received a lot of complaints about mounting the wiper at the top on their newest Tahoe based SUV's.
I like everything except the back, looks a little bubbly. Almost infinity-esque. Wish it looked just a little bit more rugged on the back.
The back def giving me Infiniti vibes
Joe, this review is why I convinced my wife to get this car so I appreciate you. We ended up with this exact 2022 white A-Spec SH-AWD with the red interior. I probably would have gotten a different color if inventory wasn't low but the black accents do look incredible on the white car.
Now my wife only trusts your car reviews. 😂
Acura finally stepped up their game. They’re starting to look sleek again!
Acura is going to sell a ton of these.
If they sold a ton of the other MDX's which they did they'll definitely sell these.
@@arrogen2831 right, im a little surprised that it topped companies like lexus w that interior
AGREED
@@connorh3421 you hit the nail on the head!
They already sell a ton, but the outgoing MDXs were selling at well over $3k below INVOICE or over $6k below sticker. At $54k, this A-Spec looks like a pretty good deal, not so much at $60k. But styling is very important in this segment, and Acura looks like they nailed it...
WHOA!! First Production Vehicle ever made in 2022, Great Job Acura.
I couldnt stop laughing with the snacks and sanitizer references 🤣😂😆,
2054 Exp. Date for Twinkie cracked me up. Keep the reviews rolling. A lot of info,,, and thanks to Mrs. Camera for all her work.
This is an excellent luxury Japanese family suv I’m still waiting for a redesigned RX to compete whit this
AGREED!
@@RaitisRides 👍
More premium than luxury today.
Hey Joe, love the Acura’s. I would definitely put this and the RDX on my list if I was SUV shopping. Thanks for sharing it. Nice job as usual! Lori as well! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I totally agree with you!
I owned a 2014 MDX and currently own a 2017 MDX Hybrid Advanced features. Like them both, especially the 2017 Hybrid. If everything stacks up as early reviews are showing and forecasting, I will be buying a S MODEL 2022 once they become available. I use both of mine for many 500+ and 2,000+ mile annual road trips to various states. I travel with my wife and either 2 or 4 bikes + multiday gear for our activities. Sometimes 2 bikes inside with gear in the rear storage area. Plenty of room and creature comfort and can carry our friends to and from rides. I am a fan of drive and vehicle quality. Looking forward to the S MODEL for something even more driver oriented.
Big old bag of lays chips😂😂. Awesome vehicle interior and exterior. As always great presentation. Looking forward to it. Definitely wanna park it in my garage. And awesome camera magic Laurie
I want to park a Raptor in my driveway Joe. 👍great job Lori. Not easy what you guys do.
Thank you!!
Was waiting for him to talk about the uniformity of his black and white shoe as well with the SUV.
this is a beautiful upgrade , a long time waiting ..looking forward to picking this up soon. thanks for all the information that wasnt ever mentioned or shown before.cheers
You are so very welcome!
@@RaitisRides your the best at these reviews, clear and informative right up to the ZONKS! always look forward to any car manufacture you review..thanks again
Man no one beats the Telluride and Palisades 3rd row features, size and space... If Acura would have made the 3rd adult size and putting down the seats easier, and made the main screen touch, this would have been a definite buy and homerun...
Raiti, I love watching your reviews man! You are concise and truly focus on what matters. I have a 2017 MDX, tech package and with your review, I clearly can see what the difference is compared to mine. Again, nice job man!
Man you're so good at what you do, give credit where credit is due. I won't forget about that 50gal drum of sanitizer next time I hit Costco.
How are you Joe? What an early vid! Fun!
Hey Tom! Busy...busy getting this one filmed and up on the channel today.

Fantastic job showcasing the car! Have been dying to get my new MDX (Been driving the 2nd Gen since 2009), glad Acura is making this long-awaited update. Looking forward to the 28th! Would be great if you can show case the advanced package!
seems like people are finally happy with the interior❤️
Finally they got the turn signals LED in both front and rear
Do you think the new infotainment controls are an improvement over the old rotary knob style after using it? It seems like they took a step back.
Joe, you got the first review in before anyone on this MDX, congrats
Joe makes all his money from plugging Twinkies, Skittles and Lays chips!
Alright bro, the MDX is 🔥🔥🔥 and the commentary is 🔥🔥🔥. Great review. I was very entertained. 👍👍
This vehicle is beautiful in person! It looks better than than the GV80 inside and out!
"You can keep the Twinkies for ever" lol the 12v passenger side "they can put whatever they want to" hahha and guess what there is a forever Twinkies box in the trunk too HAHAHAHA
Thanks for letting us share some laughs and the MDX with you!
Love this but I would only pay 50k for this model.
How much money is it ?
@@rod1686 79k
@@VelocitronVoyager I searched it up 6 seats is 44k and 7 is 62k
I took one for a test drive today. It was nice...but it didn't blow me away. The ride was a bit rough and the interface for the infotainment was better but still clumsy. I also drive a Kia Telluride SX and was amazed at the ride, the quiet cabin and how much better the tech was than the MDX. Side cameras (high res) on both mirrors when you signal, displayed on the centre screen did blow me away. And for $15K less than the MDX! Looks like I'm converting to Kia.
Kia is junk & watch out for the KIA BOYS
This thing is badass & elegant 👏🏼
My last Acura was a Legend. Did not like the MDX....until now. Supposed to hit dealers next week.
This guys needs a tv show. 😂
Your personality shined in this review. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks and subbed.
And here i am stuck with my used 2008 sport mdx, can't wait to get this in the next 10 years lol 😅
The front reminds me of when I buy taco bell for myself after my girlfriend says she doesn't want any but then she tries to eat all my food and I don't give her much, if any. Angry. But I like it
First! Keep up the good work, Joe!
Thanks for being here and so supportive!
Really awesome review and excellent camera work, and oh so entertaining. I hope the ride review lives up to the fantastic styling and utility of MDX. So great that you point out Made in USA 🇺🇸in Great State of Ohio!
Review 1: Twinkies and chips
Review 2: Twisty bits
Great video! Makes me curious to see what Lexus has coming ! Keep up the good work.
18:51 I hate when people get in my car and leave out by hitting the speaker on the car door interior. This man is definitely one of those people look at that white print and scrape he left on the speaker on the left, "It hurts to see". I still love this car though
They did an excellent job on this SUV, just like your review. Great job 👍. Looking forward to the test drive
Unbelievably awesome vehicle. Great review as well. Thanks keep up the great content.
Almost perfect! The piano black interior is grinding my gears a bit :(
Lexus needs to take notes! Acura put in work on the redesign!
Acura needs to take notes from Lexus and start making touchscreen displays
@@88hemoglobin also that. Trackpad sucks no matter how you spin it. Plus kinda sad how there’s no digital cluster on the TLX or TLX Type S.
@@88hemoglobin and that god awful button shifter 😭😭😭😭😭 the new civic even has wireless Apple CarPlay and android auto too
So glad there is a live Twinkie demo in this video. Hope we can cover the full Hostess lineup in future videos.
Great review as always, Joe. Can’t wait for your review on the Type-S! Shoutout to Lori for the great camera work!
Exterior styling is quite a step up. I’ve never been a fan of the current interior language.
This is not the the sport models this is just the appearance package, the sport model will be the top of the line Type S
I think on the higher end models there might be a usb on the qtr garnishes just behind the third row seats within reach of third row passengers.
That is so very true!
Finally. Let’s go ❤️🔥.
Yes sir!
I was laughing at the twinky part it literally expires 2054
I love the videos because you have all resolutions up to 4k. You elaborated in details which I like most. It is disappointing the SUV is still under power. They need to make it to at least 380-400 Horsepower.
This is great content. Love the information format. But zero information on how this drives? That is what cars are for after all. Not knocking the channel, but in my opinion there are too many car reviews that should really be titled "feature reviews." It's like reviewing a TV without even turning it on.
These auto manufacturers are finding creative way to put speakers everywhere. 🔊😄
Lots of improvement and nice exterior but why not touchscreen infotainment. This is 2021.
Acura mdx is very handsome suv. This one looks so cool but 2015 Mdx I have is full of issues with sensors and electronics.
It might be just my vehicle but ho has so many issues but everyone I know having mdx or rdx face issues with something or other.
Looks very stylish in terms of body kit, wheels and interiors. But I feel Palisade actually beats it because of the technology and overall space offered in it. Still indecisive about which one to get.
Hyundai is atrocious
Or Gv80 .....but ill wait for the new infiniti 😎
I was waiting for this preview!!! Thanks!!!
Great video...torn between this ride and the Lexus RX... Sure the rx needs updating already but which one would you go with if both are refreshed?
I would have to see what the refresh on the RX is all about. This MDX is bringing the heat.
Been waiting on this as I’m debating on this Acura, RX 350 sport, and the Audi SQ5. Thoughts?
Between this and the GMC Denali Yukon, feel more bang for the buck With this one ☝️
I guess to each their own.
We bought one of these beauties. It doesnt get here till Dcember. We bought the Platinum Elite
🇨🇦 I absolutely love this channel!!! Love this new MDX too!!
Any info on the type s? Great review... good job Lorrie on the video work...
Thank you for reviewing the color I would choose. The entire time I was waiting for you to test the massaging seats but maybe that doesn't come with the aspec trim. Or, maybe you will be reviewing that on the 28th in part 2.
I’ve been on the fence between a Gx 460,& the MDX, now I’m torn between the Aspec or the Advance models.
Genesis is becoming Korean Mercedes and Acura is becoming Japanese BMW.
More like becoming a Japanese Audi
I cannot stand having buttons for your drive selector. Give me a god damn center console shifter!
They had to do so they can charge you 300-400 for a transmission fluid change
Look very good in front Back look like Mazda CX 9, to me
I can understand where you are coming from!
I am really sad because of this beautiful car isn't available in the UAE 💔
Would you be able to tell me the difference between this A spec packages and the Advance package. I love the red leather on the a spec but what would I be missing out on with the advance package?
Great news: no floating roof! Awesome, detailed review.
Acura really loves this tablet style screen.. for this bigger suv, they should’ve just stole MBenz design lol
*The double centre stack screens are gone....finally!* ❤️
I liked it but I also like the new design 🔥
It’s about time.
Yah its been like that since 2014
Ur like the justin y of car content
That was the most hideous thing ever!!!
As a long time Honda/Acura fan that's been underwhelmed by their cars over the past decade, this MDX and the new TLX are a home run. Glad to see Acura finally evolved their performance roots for the modern era
I totally agree with you Omar.
@@RaitisRides except for that ridiculous mouse pad! And not too keen on the new popup look of the screen. I have a 2019, actually love the double screen, but most importantly the upper screen is buiilt in and shaded. (doesn't LOOK like a cheap pop up screen.)
Same here. I bought a loaded 2021 RDX and it's been in the shop 4 times in 2 months for the exact same issue, all tech and safety lights come on dash and are unusaeable. Asking Acura to trade me out due to lemon law. I'm so confused now. Do I get an Accord Hybrid or Lexus IS 350F Sport or Acura MDX Type S or something different? Yes, I'm sort of all over the place. I'd appreciate it if anyone wants to reply with their opinion.
@@markusthedrummer8143 We don’t believe you!
Finally, Acura's design for its exterior & interior improved!
I totally agree with you!
Long time coming
I gave you a like, but will say it's easier after Honda came up with first in this class, and best selling...to find ways to improve as technology improves.... which is what others did and are doing.... just like many of its products including its motorcycles, to first generation civic, first generation Accord first non- American brand to be built in America and a game changer, first and second generation NSX, Ridgeline pickup truck, S2000 especially was highest output per cylinder for many years till Ferrari finally did same for far more money, or F1 racing, etc, etc, etc
Looks even better in person. I just bought one in Aspec 👍🏼
@@TheKingkingg The S200 didn’t have the highest output per cylinder, but per liter at 124 HP per liter.
