2Pac is one of the best storytellers in hip hop history. Brenda was killed by one of her tricks. The picture shown at the very end of the video was the real life Brenda. This song was based on a true story that Pac read about in the newspaper while filming the movie Juice. He then went and made the song which to this very day remains relevant and moves the soul. Tupac may be gone but his music lives on...word up!

I was seeing a girl who did the same job and she’s in her mid-20s (didn’t meet her through the job though, just to clarify) and she’s got a kid (not mine) and whenever she told me she was working I feared for her safety. I wanted to help her to break away from the cycle she found herself in but we didn’t work out. In a way this song hits home.

PAC actually grew up on the east coast...lived in Baltimore for awhile and went to the school of performing arts there...he was NEVER a “gangster “...he was a very good actor...he knew the stuff he wanted to talk about wouldn’t sell(exposing the satanic industry,etc) so he played the role of thug/gangster because that’s what unfortunately sells....once he had fame, he then was going to truly expose the evil in this world...but was silenced...he got some info out on his Makieveli album
