"We wanted it to look authentic, so we hunted some dragons"
asking you to do all of this in only three weeks is crazy, shame on them for not giving you more time. sure the result is amazing, but a lot of stress could have been avoided.
@@theclodofclods Agreed. They rush everything they do. Probably even have you take 15-10 minute lunches lol.
The fact that u handsculpted the majority of the costume. Gives me a whole new respect for you.
I hope you get paid very well for your hard work.
"A few months ago we were asked to make this"
Oh cool, at least you had decent time-
"But we only got about three and a half weeks to make it"
*Spits out coffee*
Seriously though that is PHENOMENAL work for the amount of time you got, cuddos to you guys.
I love this so much, it's so massive yet still so full of details.
My favorite is that the chainmail is riveted not butted, this is a detail that even "historical" replicas get wrong so it was amazing to see that you got it right.
Apart from the ESO Nordic armour you guys did, this is one of my personal favorite builds of yours . fantastic job, Eorlund Grey Mane has certainly met his match!
It was hand sculpted!? Jesus that’s some skill
Oh damn. The amount of effort and the level of skill is just crazy.
Кооооопец как КРУТОООО!))) Это потрясающе)
That costume is insane! It legitimately looks like it came from the game itself :) truly legendary craftsmanship, Smithing lv100 :)
The amount of detail is insanely good and it's sculpted by hand ?! You guys are living the dream, earning money from passion
I wish I had half the skill you had , would love to be able to make something like you do.
Seeing how amazing you hand sculpted the pieces you did blows my mind !
That's an amazing job. It's Movie Quality. You make it look so easy, each and every step of the process. But clearly it isn't as simple as you make it look. Thanks for sharing your work with all of us.
Really, really enjoyed watching this!!!!
INCREDIBLE work on this!!!!
Stay AWESOME and Happy Holidays.
You somehow make it look so easy .... but this is truly an intense amount of work. And in 3 weeks?? Insane! You guys are phenomenally skilled!! :D Love your channel!
That bit at the end is amazing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Shot by ultim8media in case you haven't seen that in the description- he does some amazing work :D
That you two made that WHOLE costume in less than 4 weeks?! And also handsculpted and casted most of the pieces?! So much respect for you! Happy Holidays!
That is an insane build! Great work of art!
It's so amazing what human can create
Thank you for your amazing job and you made it looks so natural and authentic I don't like quick and cheap work you both are fantastic ♥
Absolutely amazing work, the level of your workshop and art -- full of awe.
WHYYYY LAURA ?! WHY DON'T YOU HAVE MORE VIEWS ?
That's an insane amount of work in such a short time ! I hope the commission was decently paid by Bethesda. It's movie production worthy with only a team of two. Superb work !
Very impressive work, especially inside a month. That mace is very Sauron. Wonderful job guys!
PERFECTION AF AS ALWAYS GOD TIER CRAFTING
That was absolutely amazing. You guys are so very talented! **bows deeply** I am in awe of your art! Thank you for sharing with us!
So epic & insanely beautiful- thank you for sharing the process
Uhh real medival chainmail! That looks so cool seeing that build into a cosplay. Also how do you manage your time, when you have three weeks for this build?
This is so cool! I'm a game artist, and I think it's so awesome that you can do what I do BUT MAKE IT IN REAL LIFE!! I would like to offer one bit of feedback though. One thing that's really important for game art is it's roughness value. That is how smooth or rough a material appears(when interacting with light). For example, polished wood floors are very smooth, while rust is very rough. I think the roughness of the bone is the only thing that caught my eye, seems too smooth for the weathered effect you were going for. That being said, I have NO clue how you would fix that in real life haha. When I need to fix it all I have to do is change some number values. But you two seem SO talented, I'm sure you'd know how to do it!
This turned out amazing! You two really outdid yourselves.
Amazing costume simply beautiful and detailed impressive
Your finish on those 3D printed pieces is particularly incredible! How much sanding did you guys do?!! In such a short time scale?! Such good work!
Now that's some serious skill
Wow, das ist mega geil, ich glaube, dass ich hier schon mal ein cosplay making gesehen habe, weiß aber nicht mehr was es war. Echt geil :D
Lightning Cosplay: Clay and Sculpting by hand. Kamui Cosplay: Dremel, dremel, and more dremel. End result? Quality cosplay, with one costing a lot more than the other
Tbh i think both methods would cost the same, just because rubber and clay in such big quantity is not cheap. So both EVA foam and worbla/rubber/liquid plastic are expensive.
Eva foam has less work though, considering you dont make your own molds, so much more time saved
@@rockinHurley777 cheaper than what? Clay? Not in my experience. And it depends on what kind of foam you're using
You guys are amazing at what you do. I was so bummed when I found out you guys were at HolMat. I should've gone! Lol
that was sick you guys are awesome
Such a great work!
I guess the cat should get more credit in the future video
Incredible quality!
Gorgeous job! You are incredible masters!
Absolutely Awesome build. Loved the ending also. I thought to myself...why doesn't he just use the Clairvoyance Spell? LOL
I love your Chanel guys, you are the best 💪
Damn fine work! 🙌
That's what professional costumes looks like
Good job!! It looks so cool.😃
Wow ! Very impressive!
I love your channel!!!
Amazing work !!
Amazing... Just amazing
So proud of you guys!!!
Fantastic!
0:39 of corse Bethesda would rush them to get their results like what they did with obsidian
could you please make a small tutorial explaining how to scale objects if you do know and if you don't know any sort of ingame dimensions? also how to grab the ingame item and turn it real? i do have some photo references but i still don't know exactly how to make the patterns, for now i want to make the "COD OF WAR" armor from God of war, its a blue/turqoise armor with scales, probably dragon scales and i want to make the objects from the game as well, like the small stuff that hangs on the belt and etc, thanks a lot, keep being awesome guys
Great tip for making a sewing pattern!
I shouldn't have watched this video... Now I want a Dragonbone Armor for me.
It was honor to subscribe on you!
Will you guys be doing the daedric armor from Skyrim that has the sword and shield
Amazing work
Dear Lightning Cosplay!
Where did you buy those chainmail rings? They look awesome! This cosplay is INSANE btw, keep up the good work!
Whaaaat this is so inspiring 🤪🤩😍
Laura - like me, I'm guessing you binged The Witcher. Any plans to recreate the Nilfgaardian armour? I loved the almost cloth-like texture.
If you guys were given more time what changes would you make to the Dragon bone armor and how would you guys make Ebony armor from The Elder Scrolls: Blades or any kind of Elder Scrolls Ebony armor in general.
Wow this armor looks amazing! How much does it cost to get a set custom made?
I want work with youuu :( what a great job i know its hard but this is sooo coool
During the sculpting phase I could hear a song from Adventure Quest 3D...
Its awesome
Damn I want one
Que maravilhoso, gostaria muito de saber fazer tudo isso.
WOW!!!
I feel the armor should be a more bone like color, like how dragon bone armor from the elder scrolls 5 looks
You have to do the eso glass heavy armour
Your sewing machine after this : 🙋♂️🚶♂️🏃♂️💨
the suit looks epic but I love the Dragon Bone Armor from Skyrim better then ESO.
Funny that Bethesda contracted real-life Nords to make the armour.
If they make Daedric armor, their cosplays are so real, they would have to use blood and hearts and stuff, what do you think?
Wow, shame on bethesda for
not giving you more time but this turned out so beautiful
Its really cool made. But the bone don't look like bone, its way to white and look like plastic. But other then that its really cool.
wow i like that
WOW ~👍 👍 👍
The best good~👏 👏 👏
Hey guys, looks like I learned something here :D Can´t find it in the comments: Whats the white paper-like sheet you used at 3.46? Thx a lot!
omg I,want to learn that
Hmmmmmm so cool.... can you make a persian immortals armour From assassion creed odyssey? That would be the best ...👏🏼🤌👌
Keep in mind that the helmets are supposed to be worn with padded coif under it. Without that helmets would be useless.
Grate costume
OwO) wow how many lv you guys now ? it is so good !!!
👑😎💪💪💪
it be cool if u cast it from aluminum
Where did you get that turn-around model of the armor in the thumbnail?
Gotta ask... how much does something like this even cost?
:-o I want it!
Sooing lol looks great
I think you meant eyelets
Wooow you do great jooooob xd i love it !!!!
Can you make a longsword from Monster Hunter World iceborne
It was extremely unfair of Bethesda to expect artists like yourselves to get something so time-consuming and labor-intensive with only one month. The end result is extremely beautiful and so freaking cool I don't even have words for it, but I also hope you were compensated fairly for the amount of work this was and the amount of stress it no doubt caused.
