@@suse5057 Yes, Im of people related to Estonian called Suomi, but you propably know it by its Svedish name "Finland", because Swedish is germanic language land means land and they called (and still do) my people "finne [plural finnar]".
My country also seems to have some prehistoric ties with Latvian and Lithuanian tribes considering loan words and we hve similar old musical instrument.
Funny that Latvians say "meeža" as Estonians say "mets" and my people "metsä" (forest). Slava to Polands partisans afgainst kommunist, sad that kommunists and Saksons did bad to your land.

The Forest Brotherhood is one of better stories out there. No hope of winning but continued the fight. Janis was out there for nearly 5 decades before he was able to return home.

In Lithuania there's a joke about Swiss that's often used to lift up the spirits in the military:
somebody asks an army officer "What if an enemy invades Switzerland?" and he answers "Well, then each Swiss will have to take out their guns and shoot once"
"What if the enemy is tree times more numerous?"
"Then each Swiss will have to shoot tree times"
Same in the Baltics: the enemy has always been and likely will always be more numerous, so the warfare tactics have to be aimed at quality, not quantity.
