  • Hello guys! Error P0237, P0236? Other turbo-related errors? Is the lack of power permanent or intermittent? All of these symptoms can have a very simple solution if we do our troubleshooting. Also, how to test the turbo pressure sensor in fast and fail proof way.

    (Edit: the P0237 came back after weeks and will remain a miracle to me) Excellent video, grazie mille signore! I had to figure out all this information by my own being abroad with an expedition car, a new Isuzu D-Max with a lot of electronics which I was kind of shocked about. Eventually it was nothing of the causes I suspected and you described. The P0237 error only came when the diesel tank was at 15% level or less and it is probably the electronic controlled tank ventilation. Still abroad I don't have access to tools and parts so today I have to live with it and keeping the tank level higher.

      Hello. That is very odd.. normally fuel pressure and air pressure do not interfere between each other.
      You may have a bad ECU or map. It is diesel, right?

      @@alfaromeonoproblem Apparently they do. I found it in a Pierburg troubleshoot document affecting the intake manifold pressure. I can sent it to you if you want.

    Hi bruno what kind of pipes I need to buy to replace the damaged one? I cannot find the right diameter on eper/elearn

      Hello. New they just sold the entire set. To repair a good thick 4mm usually does it

    Today I drove an Alfa GT 1.9 JTD 150hp, hard acceleration as they say, full throttle. At about 180-190kmh, it throws a check engine error and the dashboard says motor control system failure. The car goes into safe mode. I turn off the car, turn it on and everything is normal, I drove it for 210 km after that, but the error remained. Diagnostics showed P0237, Turbo/super charger boost sensor 'A' circuit low. I deleted the error and everything was normal, until I drove it full throttle again. This only happens at high speeds with hard acceleration. Did you have the same experience and how did you solve it?

    I removed my reservoir box due to the physical damage and connected to the regulator of the turbo , so do i face any performance issues related turbo actuating and boost ?

      Hey. If you do not any leaks and the solenoid is good, yes you need the reservoir

    Hi, do you know the inner diameter of the vacuum pipes? I want to replace the old ones with silicone ones (before this I'll test the 0.9 and 0.6 bars with manometer)

      Hello. It depends on the car. But usually 3.5 or 4mm

    Question please:
    When i shut down the engine of my 156 2.4 jtd 175, the actuator stay on pressure 20-30sec. I ear a little noise about the regulator (i have buy a new and it make the same noise after stop engine)
    And after 20-30sec the noise stop and i
    ear a sort of 'pschiiit' who comes of the actuator
    and the shift on the actuator returns to its place.
    Is it normal ?

      Hello. Yes, it's normal to do that. On previous cars it was less time and often not enough time. So later they extended the time. I have other videos on this subject

    One question: all vacuum pipes of my car have been checked and ok. When i disconect the MAF car goes veeery good, not as perfect but really good. When i conect everything, car does not have power from 1700 to 2500 rpm.
    New MAF conected and the problem is the same ...
    Maybe the problem is related with MAP?
    I think that i can discard turbo because when MAF is not conected the car runs really fine.
    ¿What do you think?

    Do You use a race chip? I saw somting in the left near to the incoming air pipe wich looks like a race box. Does this work?

      Hello. Yes it is. I have it for about ten years. Works very well. No smoke and more grunt. Also have it on my sedan JTD. Same story.

      Mine is no longer manufactured.. it really was a long time ago. It does not have a name on the box. It was a German site I guess

      Hello. Absolutely! Low boost normally does not create a fault code on these cars.

My problem now is the loosing of power on uphill and when i hit in the hole,so my gas pedal not responding on the first half,sometimes there is no reaction even if i press it to the end,then it starts the acceleration right at the moment. Sorry for my long comment and bad English,but maybe you can give me some advice,what should i do.
