On the flip side, mine was legitimately missing parts and I only knew for sure after watching this.
This video has literally saved my sanity and helped with my confidence! My fan arrived today all flat packed and instructions were incomprehensible, needless to say I felt like crying! Luckily I found this video and after following the instructions step by step I managed to put the fan together all by myself! So proud of myself! Thanks so much!

You'r a lifesaver I'm a 70 year old and those instructions that we get with the fans are impossible to read they use such tiny letters but the fonts on you tube are as large as we wish so once again thank you.

Had an issue with an old fan i've had for 20 years where the blades were hitting the cage. Used this video to work backwards, take it apart and find the issue. Found a couple of screws that had gotten loose over time that were meant to keep the top bit in place. I tightened it all up and now everything is good. Can't thank you enough, as now I can sleep in peace with my trusty old fan keeping me cool.

The manual that came with my standing fan was for a desk fan and the manual I found for the standing fan used unclear pictures so this was absolutely golden.

Just had a neighbour check its all tightly screwed down and it was.
