Incredible video series, thanks so much for sharing! Something I noticed after watching your trick with the saddle soap pre-soak, it really helps my tools slide effortlessly across the leather especially while using my bevelers. Thx again RAL!
Excellent video. Replacement cutting heads for the stitch groove are very cheap, like $2. So don't hesitate to replace it. Looks like you are pushing way harder then you should have to
Weaver Leather is the store with these Will Gromly holsters patterns if anyone else was looking at Tandy Leather and not finding them there like suggested early in this video at 1:08.
Hi, I just found your series of videos on the hand of God holster, I'm interested in seeing you make this holster, I've been making holsters for thirty years now and still learning from watching others.
Have you considered using tracing film rather than cut up those pricey patterns? It's way more accurate and makes the tooling pattern line up perfectly.
Hey brother, Getting into leatherwork myself. Specifically holster/western work. One that I wanted to make myself as my first project is the partner of Russell Crows rig. The dual cross draws that were canted inward? About to get started and think I have an idea as to what I will do, but any advice? Or even a video? Thanks for the time, great work! Ray skinner
I recently had some interaction through email with Will Ghormley, getting the Hand Of God Crosses. I'd really like to have had him make me a 3:10 rig but can't spend the money on it. He'd been in an accident and had some broken bones and such. Hope he's doing ok now.
Excellent series of videos on making this holster. Thanks for sharing. Simple question- what are you using to spray your water? Sounds almost like compressed air.
I’ll be buying the patern and making the holster for a ruler super black hawk am I safe in assuming the 7 1/2 inch will work or possible the skofield? Thanks for any help!

It's the "Fine Mist Pump Sprayer" sold by Tandy Leather.
Jason Stone thanks!
Cool cup, man!
Yes, I'm part of the brony crowd.
Amazing !
روعة ❤❤❤❤❤
Whats kind of leather is? Sorry for my english and thanks in advance
Looks like your field went past the center fold line.
Yep. That's how the holster appears in the movie. It's a 'wrap-around tooling' look I've carried over to my own designs.
I have a guy that wants this rig with 2 holsters; one for 45 Colt and one in 30 Carbine
I really want to adapt that pattern to fit my Kimber .45ACP.
Will Ghormley has "The Hand of God Rig G2" on his website that includes patterns for 1911s now
What is the cutting board under the granite
It's just large self-healing cutting mat that covers most of my table.

Ruger man I hate spell check.
@@clydegoman1228 I suggest buying some craft foam sheet from the art store and make a mockup-up with it.
@@RoadAgentLeather That's a great idea!
Nice bruh
Do you have one for sale?
I've made "Hand of God" and "Johnny Ringo". I love Will Ghormly's patterns
Agreed. The best.
