I was curious about the install, as I have seen one in a friends car. Assuming you can remove the screen etc' so one could carbon fibre wrap the woodgrain.....
Looks really nice. I was going to just run your other android system that is added to the original system. Mine is a 2019 S4.
Vivid discriptive articulate video well done, all the more reason to buy a Patrol over a LandCruiser and do this to bring Patrol up to date.
All very nice, however, I'd like to tap into engine and driveline sensors/ gauges, obd codes etc via the screen 👌

Great video followed step by step after ordering for a US 2014 QX80. Sadly the 360 camera and reverse camera do not work and the hazard light is different shape and location. For anyone with a 2014-2017 QX80 fyi. Everything else works as advertised.
** Note: 2014-2017 QX80 factory around view camera is NOT compatible.
** Note: QX80 hazard button has different shape than the cutout on our bezel. Custom modification on the radio is needed. Or purchasing a 2018-2019 Armada's hazard button.
What did you do about the reverse and 360 camera???
What about the car maintenance details that use to be there on the factory screen? Such as due to service, tire press, fuel consumption....etc
Great video.... can you swap the volume wheel to the RHS of the unit? Instead of LHS? I'm guessing i would still use the volume steering wheel controls most of the time, but would be handy to not have to reach all the way to the left.
Unfortunately it cannot be moved! The steering wheel or reach over is the only way to use it :)

Curious, for the Plantinum Armada with the entertainment package, is there an option to move the cd/dvd drive elsewhere since this screen requires removing it?

I have the Infiniti QX80 my hazard button is in different location and shape also does this have a CD player as I also have the rear screens on headrest I’ll need a CD player for that to play DVD’s if I choose from the front. And will this unit work for my vehicle?… thanks!

Our kits do not, most of the others will have sound issues in the TIL but we have workdd out how to fix it

I'm not sure if it has been previously asked, but can this unit somehow accommodate an extra camera input from the rear of a caravan, so we dont need to use an extra monitor (eg Safety Dave )
Yes it can but it needs to be hardwired.

Just the wood grain mate! But it can be wrapped as most do with the rest of the wood grain

I heard those radios have bad audio output....how's the sound? Does it sound like a pair of cheap headphones? Or is clear and did it help add sound like slightly higher volume?
Some of them have issues in the TI-L or BOSE model cars but only we have the solution for it :)
