ash amirul I'v heard those press junkets are brutal. The actor or whomever are stuck in a little room all day as reporters are just shuffled through. And yes, they probably hear the same questions multiple times, which is infuriating. I've heard the same joke from customers at work so many times I'd rather take a power drill to my head then hear it one more time.

She clearly had more fun working with JJ and being paired with her peanut while filming, Rian stole away a natural chemistry between two people that showed on screen in the Force awakens!
How can you have them reunite on screen in his movie but not even share any dialog in Last Jedi, there hug was probably the most powerful part of the film. Why did Rian attempt to remove John (Finn) from being any importance too Rey character going into episode 9!
At least JJ is back and will retcon Finn and Rey relationship that made force awakens what it was

Because people read too into their relationship. They see it as romantic when the cast, crew and most of the fandom knows they're supposed to be friends only. It's also because they were trying to get us to focus more on the budding relationship of Ben and Rey because they're supposed to be the ones who become completely romantic in Episode 9.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but personally I don't find either two pairings romantic. Finn and Rey are definitely just two humans that had gone through a lot of sudden change in their lives and from this, they both share a common bond between them and they just care a lot about each other.
Kylo Ren and Rey's relationship is also not romantic I would say either. Rey is Kylo Ren's strong counterpart in the light, like mentioned in the film, and by eventually allowing the both of them become a couple would
1. draw the point away from Rey's character, which is to show that only she herself can forge her own path. And adding a romantic interest would just have everyone too focused on their relationship rather than her growth.
2. seemingly unbalance the force bc Kylo Ren would have to be become part of the light side in order to have a romantic relationship (or Rey to the dark), making two strong force-sensitive people on one side. Unless they throw in the something with gray Jedi???? Which frankly doesn't seem likely with the story they told now
Kylo Ren also isn't much of a redeemable person after events that happened in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Doesn't seem fair to give Rey such a love interest anyway
I hated that Rey and Finn were separated, I never saw their relationship as romantic it’s just such great friendship chemistry. Can’t wait for JJ to be back onboard because it’ll have such a good impact on the film.
I loved the last Jedi by the way, I just think it shows that the cast wasn’t as passionate about it this time round.
She explicitly said "there's a limit to the number of times one can see oneself onscreen...the rest of the film is fantastic." Meaning she's uncomfortable with watching her own performances, which is a pretty common thing with actors (and other creative types, for that matter. I'm a writer and re-reading my own work makes me cringe hardcore). So I'm kinda tired of people taking her out of context and being like "THE CAST HATES THE LAST JEDI!!"
