Thanks for always being there for us when a hurricane is close! Have been following u since u started in your dorm room at FSU & appreciate u so much Levi 💕
Best source of information during these storms, while being super educational in the process. These videos are always insanely helpful as a Floridian. Thank you!
A legend you are sir. Kept us properly informed the 5 years we lived in Florida, the parents still live just north of Orlando and Milton is the worst thing to come through that area in decades. Really just a huge thank you for being so thorough.
The sad fact is that some people need a lot of entertainment as a carrier for their information. Anything that works to get the message out there, is good.
This channel is my second stop after checking NHC. I am so thankful for the non-hyperbolic discussion that focuses on facts and models. Those of us who have lived in Florida for a long time know the dangers of hurricanes, so we don't need the clickbait warnings that dominate the media. We wants the facts and possibilities so we can be prepared the best we can. Thank you.
Thank you Doc Levi for such a comprehensive overview of this life threatening storm. You are the best source on the internet, hands down, for tropical storm reports. Back in the day (80's 90's) John Coleman and then John Hope were the go to no BS guys on TV. With all the tech advances since then, those two gents would absolutely marvel at what you have given us with Tropical Tidbits these last many years. You should receive a Nobel Prize for your work, sir.
Everyone please like his video. It'll help push this to others. We deserve this type of coverage. Not stupid thumbnails and fear mongering ! Levi is the best !
Thank you , Dr. Cowan! Between your videos and the huge number of weather communicators that use your website and graphics from it, you save thousands of lives! ❤
Thank you from Florida, Levi- you are a national treasure. Been through many hurricanes using your info/videos and it is always the best- I tell everyone in Florida about your work.
Thank you as always! My relatives made it here to North FL this morning after me being at their home for Helene less than two weeks ago. We are hoping for a best case scenario for everyone. This season started out deceptively calm, but it was clearly just biding its time.
Dr. Cowan, I just wanted to say thanks for everything you do. Your coverage of storms over the past years has always been extremely informative, professional, and gracefully delivered. It is extremely valuable to me and my family in Orlando. I've been a long-time watcher of your channel, and I just wanted to say thank you. - Kyle
as always, thank you so much for your coverage. really appreciate how calm and incredibly informative you are. it's helping me mentally brace for tomorrow
I am so appreciative of these videos from Tropical Tidbits. Calm, detailed and understandable explanations. I really rely on this during hurricane season in Florida. Thank you!!!!
I pray for those in the path of Milton, and it looks to be the bulk of Florida looking at all the wind, rain and storm surge. The damage expected from Milton, and right on the heels of Helene is just so hard to wrap one’s head around. I feel very badly for all impacted by Helene and Milton’s rage. The storm surge graphic is eye opening, and I hope it will aid in making that decision to evacuate ahead of all that deadly water. I am in Virginia, and just today we have finally gotten the main road open to our house, and the insurance folks are looking at our comparatively wee bit of damage. Thank you for your coverage of these storms, there is no one better.
Thank you for keeping us informed on Milton. My oldest son lives there, and he said its south of them, but it's nice to be able to come on here and get awesome coverage professionally.
Dr. Levi thank you for your clear, concise, and complete breakdown on this dangerous storm. And thanks for the more detailed information that you give, some of us are self dedicated, frustrated wannabe meteorologists who find your videos enlightening, and with the added details more comforted. You sir, are a beacon!
I'm on the east coast and it's been raining almost nonstop every day for the last couple, I hope it's not raining like this on the west coast cause that's not good if it is.
I'm going to sailboat on the east coast of Florida. I'm just north of the lake Worth bridge tucked behind a small island in the icw. Thank you for your due diligence. I feel safe now. Unless I'm unlucky enough to get nailed by a tornado of course.
Would you ever consider doing these videos on mid latitude cyclones especially atmospheric rivers heading to west coast? Or even more educational videos explaining the different types of atmospheric jets (eg surface subtropical jet that forms in winter eastern pacific, vs upper level jet, jet stream, etc)
Also know that Levi is probably the smartest meteorologist in America nit just a UA-cam personality. I trust him in Dennis Phillips in Tampa bay and really nobody else. but when I want to know what's going on tropical tidbits is who I've bet on time after time thanks Dr Levi!🙌✝️🙌❤️
Everyone should stop watching major weather networks and just watch your updates. Amazing. No drama, no gas lighting…just data analysis from multiple viewpoints and educated guesses based on the data. Simple and helpful
@@user-ue8vp6fy8y Yes, especially when people complain that commercial weather stations are more concerned about advertisers than accuracy, and the National Weather Service will be cancelled by the TeaPartyGOP if they win. We would have no accurate weather forecasts as a result.
Even if the story turns out to be really hard for us, I still hope that you can helps us to deal with this situation just listening to you giving us support. Thanks so much for a job well done.❤❤❤❤❤
I noticed that the wobble has turned Milton right during strengthening phases and turned left during the ERC weakening, the same behavior as tornadoes that deviate from storm motion with strength fluctuations. Is this a coincidence, or is there an actual parallel there in cyclone physics?
If Milton becomes as sprawling as they think it will, areas from coastal Georgia to the northern Bahamas will see tropical storm force winds and significant rain. The next three days are going to be too interesting.

You are a voice of comfort and confidence in a terrifying time. Your work is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your calm energy. I really really need this right now.
