The more you practice playing claw machines, the more tricks you will learn along the way. The best thing to do is to try going for prizes that are close to the prize chute.
The claws are *PATHETIC* these days compared to the ones I used to play at the local bowling alley and get chased-off by the manager for winning too many plushies. The thing that baffles me is how they can tweak the grip to "grab" an item so seemingly perfectly, yet drop it by the time it fully raises. I wonder if there are still any 100% skill-based machines out there in use.
I used to play claw machines every Friday when I was about 15-16 years old I was really good at it rarely losing at one point, I would take all my winnings and Monday would go to my local children’s home and pass them out to kids between the ages of 3-7, made me feel really good, now I have a daughter who’s obsessed with stuffed animals so my winnings go to her collection she’s got over 300 stuffed animals
