- The BAZ A079 series was introduced in 2002 by Boryspil Automobile Plant (БАЗ). These buses are built on TATA chassis and have a Euro 2 diesel engine also from TATA. The A079.14 subtype is a city/intercity version with 2 doors and either 19 or 22 seats.

Both manual and automatic transmissions are available, I was driving the automatic version, because the manual one didn't work with my DFGT.

Good bus :)
One big issue: the heating phyisics aren't working, temperature doesn't come up by itself or with forced heating, small issues are the brakes releasing after a while since the indicator needles are gone all the way up and the engine oil pressure indicator lighting up when there is low pressure instead of the lamp of low air on the other side of the dash. Note that the change pot for those selling tickets is not missing, it's in one of the side trunks together with a whole set of items to "pimp up" the bus ;-D

It has a 5 speed mechanical gearbox, the engine is next to the driver.

thats seriously not the sound of TATA 697 TC 65 diesel engine.... it idling is ok but acceleration sounds abnormal!!
