ok i swear im crying. i dont know why but when i see a video or picture of northern lights i just.... get emotional. when i grow up i will see this and my dreams will come true
People take so much for granted.. So many beautiful things exist on Earth and yet so little people appreciate them. It's one of my dreams to see Aurora Borealis.
My dream is to use top-end camera equipment with ever-increasing low light capabilities to film the Northern Lights in real time, too bad life is just the dead-end daily grind.
Phantom Hunter they can't, it's caused by the interaction of electrons and photons from sun which gives energy to oxygen and nitrogen and they emit small bursts of energy in the form of light. The colour depends on the wavelength or the amount of energy in each wave
They can't ruin it but it can surely ruin us. With the high outburst of radioactivity from sun you'll see a lot of lights---oh wait before that radiation would kill you---that's what happens with ozone depletion.
@@dr.manoyanaucho7724 Yes, we can still ruin it and in a way have already. In the 1960s I saw this phenom a handful of times in my home about an hour south of Syracuse NY. They weer RIGHT THERE, close and huge. Now a days you MIGHT see them from the Syracuse area off in the distance way North. Yes, they still exist but are not visible nearly as far from the Poles as they used to be.
You changed the music for this :-( I LOVED the "Gladiator" music you had with this. It added tons of oomph to it. Still love the visuals, but it's just not the same for me :-(
This is very pretty. It is unfortunately the by-product of something unfortunate. Auroras are caused by geomagnetic storms. The storms make the F layer of the ionosphere unstable. The F layer is used for radio wave propagation on the high frequency (shortwave) band and bellow. Radio waves bounce off the F layer of the ionosphere. If the F layer is disturbed the radio waves wont bounce off. I am a ham radio operator and shortwave listener. Recently there was a geomagnetic storm. The HF bands were all DEAD! So high frequency radio become useless until the storm passed. Auroras are very pretty. However as a ham I would be happy to see them go away :)
I clicked "like" for this video, but it actually brings back memories of seeing this type of activity in the night skies when I was a small child. Either my grandmother or great-grandmother would tell me those lights meant spacemen were coming to take all the little bad boys and girls. I would have nightmares of lights and spaceships in the sky for years (until well into my 40's) before I became aware of aurora borealis. The frequency of the nightmares have lessened, but now I understand them.
He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land-- the LORD is his name .... amo 5: 8 bible
I'm 16, this is the true beauty of mother nature , I thank the person who made and uploaded this ^^ Just incase I never get to see them when I'm older because the grown ups have almost destroyed the worlds beauty, I'm not saying everyone is destroying the world ... just the majority...
Im one of those who had privilege to follow Terje since beginning of the g8.no days together with Joey L and others. I really miss Terje. I know he is alive and in good mood, but i relly miss his work. Amazing talent! Teje, kom tillbaka! :)
Aurora: a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude regions, caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the upper atmosphere. In other words, magnificent.
Best Aurora Borealis video I've come across and I've looked at many! The music is perfect for it. BTW, to 'marium', the music is from Lisa Gerrard - 'Now we are free', it was part of the Gladiator's soundtrack.
Aww I love this. It's so beautiful! Aurora is such a pretty name for it too.. in Swedish it's called "norrsken" which literally means like "nothern blaze"...beautiful! I have to go to Norway for this someday with someone amazing! Or to north Sweden!
