“Bogged down in the begats “ we all know exactly what he means lol!!! And how right he is: feed your faith and your fears will starve to death. Another great teaching from pastor Danny.
Thank you Pastor Danny wonderful service I just finished reading the Bible right before Christmas and I asked Jesus where should I start wouldn't you know it it was Matthew thank you for being such a wonderful pastor very knowledgeable very understandable God bless you and North Lake Baptist Church
Brother Danny it is a great blessing to be able to watch the service on line, because my wife and I have had the virus, and our age we don't feel safe going back to church at this time, keep up preaching God's word, and blessing those listen. Rev Billy & Mary Ann king.
Greetings from Ottawa, Canada! I love your preaching! I have done a lot of Jewish studies over the past few years. One series was on the book of Matthew. The teacher explained that the word “fulfilled” is not how we normally think of it as a prediction coming to fulfillment, but rather a recapitulation or re-enactment of the history of the nation of Israel. It added a depth of understanding and meaning that I did not have previously. It makes so much more sense than our normal understanding of the word fulfill, because many of the passages Matthew refers to are not predictions at all, but statements, such as “I called my son out of Egypt.” The original OT Scripture was past tense, not future. Other Scriptures had a fulfillment in Old Testament times but a further fulfillment in Jesus, such as the virgin birth. Others are fulfillment in the way we think, such as where the Messiah would be born, and there are far more than just 8 of those! All of it is just wonderful how it weaves together perfectly! I came from an atheistic scientific background, now I believe in Jesus, my Lord and Saviour!
I really do not understand all the praise being heaped on this 'pastor'. Various proverbs in Proverbs, I won't even try to list them all here, make it clear that the pastor who tells you what you want to hear is *not* a good pastor, he is *not* your benefactor. Your true benefactor is the one who tells you the truth you *badly* need to hear, but are not hearing it.
I really like this pastor. I am new to hearing him but what I’ve heard so far, I enjoy.
Same here.
I've been saved 38 years. Pastor Danny really is a good Teacher. I'm glad that we found him, glad that you found him too
I like his style
