Hello buddy I just have a question please so I do have a hemispheres on my left side almost been a year and everything go back almost like normal only my hand the finger not open and the thumb up yet , I also got the Botox treatment too, so you thinking my hemispheres will be covered for later I still continue with occupational thank you so much
My father had stroke in feb! It has been 4 months since then he is now able to walk, but he can't do it properly, his hand doesn't work properly, he is continuosly exercising. Can you tell me how much possibility of recovery is there after 4 months? As recovery has slown down.
@Hayah: Physiotherapy is the only proven treatment for rehabilitation of post stroke patients. It takes time but a lot of lost movement can be recovered. A structured Neuro rehab program will include proper exercises in a well planned dosage and customised progression to ensure proper recovery. It is important to exercise with a trained physio for recovery

Want to know How to get movement in his hand and how long will it take? How to make his balance so he could walk without support ?

My father had hemorrhage stroke 4 months back but he can lift his arm, walk to some extent without support, maximum recovery took place in first 3 months but try to consult a physiotherapist at home, and give passive moments to his arm hand legs , it takes time. Stay strong.
