@@painlesstattoocg7997 So in my case I don't focus majorly on what will happen after healing, rather my prime focus is not to go too darker where it's risky, ex. the place between the nose curve and upper lips. It's better to go Light to dark when layering, this way each time I put a layer I wipe and see if its enough or not, earlier I used to risk and put the exact tone as I see in the reference, that way sometimes I used to end going a bit darker than required.

Printer will print whatever you want be it normal or just outline

You can switch on the ruler option in photoshop (cmd+R) on mac or check for windows. this is best for pre-deciding the size, i use this mostly
