It does seem that his first GF wasn't going to be able to live like he is living, now , he has met the right gal for him. I have been to Wales, UK but, I didn't get to see enough of it. I had about 7-8 days to see all of the UK, and we took a ferry to Ireland, and THAT was just a few hours in Dublin. IF I could redo that trip I would skip Dublin and see more of England and Wales. Dublin was NOT really seeing Ireland, it was a city full of bars and some stores. The Ferry ride just ate up time. Wales was very nice and all the green hills, so many hills, very beautiful. We stopped at "Cucumber park" which I THINK was in Wales, there were "bluebells' in bloom, it was in March. There was a lake or pond with Swans. Anyway, I know that not just anyone can build this home and put all of the water and electric power together. The home owner MUST have some knowledge about building and doing all the things he has done to bring it all together. I wish that I could make a smaller version of this in my yard, but, I wouldn't know how to do ANYTHING, even remotely like that. My greenhouse is my "she shed". So, maybe the home builder could clue us in on how he was able to pull this off? That woodland setting is just so nice and many folks would pay TOP dollar for a home like that. Well, some "posh" people would pay top dollar for a "vacation spot" like that. Many celebs would just eat up the fact that it is eco friendly too. Maybe this dude should do this as a job or extra cash thing for celebs, I KNOW, it will only work in the right place, with water and natural resources. I bet some hioty tioty celebs would LOVE to have this built for them. Again, this guy HAS to have experience in building sheds at LEAST, and LIKELY more like Houses and electrical things. IF he just read things and simply built things by what he read, he is a freakin genius.

My uncle did this. He was studying law in Lima, Peru's capital and then left to the jungle to escape the craziness of the world. I once heard complete silence in the world. It was Autumn in Alaska and I went to a far off road in the middle of nowhere up the base of a mountain. There was no snow and it wasn't too cold, but all the insects and birds and other animals were gone by then, migrated or hibernated or somesuch. I heard nothing but my own breath and heart beat. I heard no distant cars driving, I heard no far off noisy conversations or dogs barking, I didn't even hear wind. It was just silent and forever. I looked out and saw no people or houses, not even any roads, just orange and brown trees for miles. It was the most peaceful I have ever felt in my life. It made me genuinely cry, because I didn't think any place could be that quiet in the world. As a person with extreme introversion and social anxiety, it's what I always wanted from the very bottom of my heart. I love humans, but being constantly concerned about what people think about me is an incredibly exhausting and sad life. For the first time I felt like I could just be zen and with myself. Your story resonates with me so much it feels like a message from the universe, showing me what my life could be, warning me of what I will miss out on if I don't take charge of my life's changes. I had tears in my eyes after watching this, the realisation was that profound.
When he said hobbit house I was thinking very small, tiny short door way, short ceilings & extra cramp. But after I saw it I thought Shrek lives here....I was right. He met his Fiona. I appreciate & applaud your story, life & humbleness !! Beautiful just beautiful.
Wow nicely constructed house with hydroelectricity and solar. Its beautiful!. You have a great hobby. I see simple happiness on your face which is very hard to get.

WYNOLLO TV would love one the same its a dream 👏👏👏👏 No matter what anyone says.you did a great not just great more then just a great job,it’s Paradise buddy 👌✌️🤞
This is just soooo impressive. If you go to his channel, you'll see the strides he's made on his property. But for anyone thinking this is a 'no work' situation, you're sorely mistaken. The difference tho is that the work you do is all about the choices you make for your own life; improvements, additions-- plus the on-going upkeep of the hydro-electric, the solar and the wood. BUT If you love your job, it's not really 'work'.
You missed the third step, Qwerty Warrior: 1) Wrong: Get a gf and build a house SHE like. 2) Right: Build a house YOU like and get a gf. 3) When the relationship goes south, she makes you sell the house and takes half. That aside, I'd love to live in this house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature. Nice.
I love this guy. I have been watching in his own channel his self-created machines, furnitures, buildings, farms, power source, and lots more. Indeed inspiration for off-grid homestead beginners.
The nanny state knows that, which is why its actually illegal to live in your own woodland for more than 28 days per year, idk how this guy got past it, could be because of the farm land
Yes then we'd have cities of troll houses where no services were maintained, we could call it the new medieval. The local strong man would take half your produce. The world isn't a soft kitten you know.
You did a great job! It's genius. I moved out to the country, and the damn developers are moving in on us and are squeezing us out with city life. Enjoy your peaceful life! Anything worth while takes work, passion, dedication, and some dark nights of the soul. Humans are of nature and need to be connected to nature. Bless you both.
Only gonna get worse, the world is just getting more and more populated. Once you start seeing infrastructure getting installed ie water, sewer, storm. Than within 20 yrs say bye bye to your peace.
A village of earth homes in a forest sounds brilliant. I think I might prefer to have a house under a hill though, as less trees would suffer for it. A good sized vegetable garden, chickens, maybe some sheep, fruit trees spouting up here and there. 'Twould be nice.
I feel him, this society get worse, we don't use technology and knowledge to achieve bigger goals, It's like we live to work and Capitalism dictates everything.
We do use technology and knowledge to achieve greater things, if you cant see it then you are to occupied looking in the wrong direction. Stop blaming everyone else for the way society is going and instead make the change you want to see. Capitalism does not dictate everything, if you want you are 100% free to do exactly what this guy has done. He talks about everyone having a hand in his pocket. This is partially true, you pay a lot of money to be able to live the way you do right now. You sacrifice 8h, 5 days a week in order to have access to all the wonders of the modern world, shopping malls, restaurants, cars, netflix etc. You made that choice and you dont have to have all these amenities. But 99% of the population wants them and thats why we are not all eco-farmers. By many standards we are right now living under the best living conditions ever in human history.
Talks about capitalism but he won't live in a non free market country like Brazil. He couldn't handle the fact that you pay like 10x the price of everything in the US.
It's both. Though it really always seems to be the old, beaten-to-absolute-death "One step forward, two steps backwards." adage. Tough to find middle grounds, as always been the case, and always will be. This species, yo.
This is so natural and easy living. The country side is so beautiful. I wish you and your sweetheart love, healthy, and happeness forever💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💕💕💕💕👏👏👏👏💕😊

If he done as you suggested the moment his earnings reach £10,000 per year he will have to pay tax ... as it is he doesn’t earn £10k a year and doesn’t need to spend £10k a year , all he has to do is buy food and even then he’s close to the sea and goes catching lobster , crabs , mussels and fish and he grows his own strawberries and a few bits of veg so he doesn’t actually have to buy a lot , no bills to pay , his water is free , his electric is free , his car runs on refined vegetable oil for free ... what more could a man want 🤷🏻♂️

Fantastic to see that Kris and Dot have gone on to thrive in their home together. Dot’s kitchen gardening particularly is something to behold and Kris’s relentlessness is awe inspiring! What a lovely couple and may God bless them!
Everyday I think about such a beautiful way of living. We've given up our ways too quickly in the past 120 years. We need to return to our roots. Thank you for your beautiful video.
What a truly wonderful young man. I wish you long life, good health and happiness. You’re an inspiration to your generation
Kind words and from another kind person I thank you
I am thoroughly impressed. This is absolutely my kind of living. It's beautiful! You are wise. There is a woman who will be blessed with your humble view of how to live and your ambition and ingenuity.
He could have picked a better looking g/f tbh. Dot looks quite plain and homely, no wonder she was on a dating site. Maybe she's great in the sack though.

Thanks for that, I was just wondering if I could get some more info on the build.
The only thing he is missing is a man's best friend. Go adopt one from shelter mate, it will make this whole thing complete.
Porsche Collector I have told him, many times, on his channel. His girlfriend has a dog, but he doesn’t seem to want one. He just doesn’t know what he is missing.
Porsche Collector agree
No... dogs give you nothing but stress. Shitty animals, like hairy kids.
Tage Tageson wth a dog's your bestfriend your just rude and heartless
Sayuri Seiya Not everyone love dogs, Infact I hate them(I love cats, squirrels, fox, birds etc, just not dogs). But I bet a pet Tiger would do the trick.

Very well said.
Wrong: Get a gf and build a house SHE like.
Right: Build a house YOU like and get a gf.
hehe, yepp...
Qwerty Warrior reallly its how it should be
You missed the third step, Qwerty Warrior:
1) Wrong: Get a gf and build a house SHE like.
2) Right: Build a house YOU like and get a gf.
3) When the relationship goes south, she makes you sell the house and takes half.
That aside, I'd love to live in this house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature. Nice.
MrLeviathoth haha. I think the 3rd step is a step backward. It only means you didn't do well in the first step, i.e. choosing the RIGHT gf you like.
Ah, to be young again,@@qwertywarrior8966 . Thanks for the reply. Have a great week, all!
I admire his ability to construct. It’s rather an irony that most of us can’t built a house which is one of the most essential things that we rely on.
would be a better subject than most taught in schools thats for sure
Honestly building houses is not rocket science. Learning to build with cob takes only a few hours to learn. After that it just takes time.
I love this guy. I have been watching in his own channel his self-created machines, furnitures, buildings, farms, power source, and lots more. Indeed inspiration for off-grid homestead beginners.
Having a stream on his property is like gold precious.

A place like yours is my idea of living in harmony with mother earth. I love it, so much room for gardening and simple.
