People complaining about MIUI 12 are dumb af, it has plenty of cool features other brands don't provide. By far the best one out there in terms of possibilities.
Just got one of these phones, it is a beast. Came from a OnePlus 8 Pro. Screen on the 10T is better, no green tint, no dodgy scrolling effect, and stupid curve. Cameras seem pretty similar, haptics are better on the 10T. Really can't see how OnePlus are charging so much more.
Been using mi9 for 1.5yrs. Lots of ads, screen randomly activated even though all notifications had been disable and speakers hardly heard using left ear (no problem on right ear). The good thing abt the phone is cheap.
Once you root the phone and flash a solid ROM (I'm using HavocOS) it goes from 6/10 to 10/10 easy. Buttery smooth no ads no bullshit, a top tier phone for a third of the cost.

What a beautiful phone, I don't mind if it's an IPS LCD, but inside it packs a lot of value that you can use. Xiaomi wants you to enjoy this phone for longer years so advantage of LCD.
Why? If its as good as apples lcd, you wont notice. Best way to find out is waiting few days until it hits the stores, and go check it out to see if good or bad lcd quality

@tech spurt do you think the point you mentioned at 2:37 is because they have made allowance for the fact the phone is most likely going to be kept in a case for most of its life which will then make the camera lens flush with the case.

And also the IPS in Mi 10t Pro got better grading than the IPS used in other phones meaning that the IPS quality used in Mi 10t Pro is very good. (Plus that 144Hz, which makes Mi 10t Pro worth its price!) Also, I am planning to get one too.

@@srinivasprasad3568 I think gaming experience on Mi 10t Pro is great (based on phone review) It can run Genshin Impact in highest setting and still run smoothly and I'm very sure there's no ghosting. I don't mind having no expandable storage cause most of the time I keep my files on laptop. 256gb of storage is more than enough for me. About the touch sampling rate, I haven't seen any test so far. So I won't jump into conclusion that the touch sampling rate is bad for 144hz.
for me a deciding factor is the display. i think people underestimate it alot always talking bout camera and other specs but the display for me needs to be a wow factor. especially watching high quality content on it the display really needs to pop and be crisp . is this LCD as good as the mi 10pro display ? or oneplus 8display?
My 9tpro's screen died 4 months into owning. I see it happened to many. A shame because I loved the phone. Because of that it would be a long time before I buy another.

I think this feature was first introduced in Marshmallow. Not sure cause I've always used Nova launcher since Jelly Bean ~ Oreo (Now).

Too bad good IPS phones are hard to find. Either way, I'm not buying Amoled anymore. Went from LG G7 to LG G8X, it was a heavy downgrade.
