I don't know if your intentions were to make the best MPC Studio Tutorial video ever, but that's exactly what you did. I have seen so many other people try to explain the features and workflow of the MPC Studio, including the Akai MPC Studio Masterclass, and nothing compares to the quality of information in this video. I couldn't get past the 3rd episode of the Masterclass and had to watch it like 5 times. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this. This is what people were looking for, in my opinion. Now, I have a question. I got suckered into buying the AIEP3 Air Bundle and I've downloaded it and installed everything but I have no clue how to use it and cannot find any information anywhere. Are you familiar with this product? I got it for $149 but it is normally $350, and in some places, even $500. They provided me with a serial number for the entire bundle and I have no idea where I am supposed to enter the serial number.

Crazy question please. Thanks for the pointers!! If you are working on a project, say Project 01 with say 80s drum beats. So you dump the 80s drum beats in Project 01. OK, get all that! Problem I am having or don't get is, if you end up with say 10 to 20 tracks, So you move to track 2, 3,4,5 and so on, can I dump say Vocals, Synth, and more in onto track 2 and use say Synth track 3, and so on? And when you press play, all the tracks 1,2,3 and on, will play togeather, is that right ? Or have got this all screwed up here? BIG learnning curve, trying to get it sorted in my head, I keep screwing something on this on this front!! Or , do I have to open a new project 02, and project 3 to move several sound types over !

How do I find my master class template I went to file like you did Master Class not there it said something else.
I realize I've let a lot of people down by creating a UA-cam channel and still not having any uploaded content, but I have to admit, learning all of the equipment has been a real challenge. I hope to start creating videos when I am more comfortable and confident about what I'm doing. That will be sooner, rather than later, thanks to SampleKings. I did create a super killer beat the other day and thought I saved it but could not find it anywhere. It would've been such an amazing song. That is a sick feeling!
Before you make any music on it know it like how to save always make beats you don't care about the save it in many ways knowledge is the key to success.

Appreciate the video man! Do you know if there's a way to change the brightness of the pads at all? Just got mine the other day and thays the only thing that bugs me about it when I'm using it at night
You should be able to go to preferences and then go to pads. You should go change the brightness and the consistency of the head on the path as well.
How to change sequence length from MPC? How to move MPC to next bar in sequence? On MPC Studio mk2 it does not work, only on standalone MPC.

And I would like to ask 2 questions. 1.can I ad more instruments into pads A from left side from program plugins, I think more different plugins in one pads group, or it is possible only from right side from samples etc?2. BUG? Navigating bars with locator does not update the pads, so sequencer is not working. On standalone it is working.
Hi! Thanks for the video. I have a problem, how can I use the touchstrip during the recording ? I activated record, I pressed the pad and I pressed the touchstrip at the same time to have FX effects, but when I listen the sample there is no FX.
Can you do it in the software? If so then they may need to update.

is there a way to turn down the main volume in "Sample Edit" ? the volume is about 10x louder than how i set my samples volume in programs to avoid clipping/distortion, but when i go in sample edit they are way too loud . Im using the MPC Studio Black. any help would greatly be appreciated.

@@SampleKingsVideos yea that sucks big time man, everyother application has a option to control volume for this sort of thing. i hope they catch up to the times
@@misterkyatproductions 1 day they just might get it done but I just do all my sample edits and if I have to go back to sampling I just remember to lower the volume.
In step sequencer mode, how do i access the second set of 16 steps in a 32 step sequence? I tried the +/- , doesn't work.
Note before i tried doing that i was stuck in pitch mode. I cant ever exit pitch mode, unless i go to a different mode.. which still doesnt allow +/- to controller the sequencer. Hitting "main" didnt help either.

No, only akai gear and softsynths I never used third party…
Maybe you can control plugin in the MPC software. I know you can have third party plugs in the software, but have'nt tried it out.
Can the MPC studio Mk2 output individual drums to separate mixer channels within a DAW when used as a plug in?
I want to keep making patterns, edits, switch patterns all without committing to audio until the end of the composition process. I just want to mix the drums within MOTU Digital Performer live and also output individual drums out the audio interface separate outputs for mixing analogue.

No it's just a controller, you'll need and MPC x, or LIVE II or MPC ONE for some of that.

How do you automate the touch strip effects? I hit the write button but it doesn’t automate anything that I do with the touch strip.
Maybe in the mixer window? I did see the efx in that mixer window for masters. Maybe has an engage button?!
@@djmindcontrol1 I can automate other effects with the touch strip like on the program where it shows the little automation logo. I’m beginning to think that maybe the touch fx load in the masters in order to use the on a live performance on something.
@@EZ-nc8fr I have the same problem I used automation, record, and overdub none of them recorded the strip effects. I could only achieve it by using the insert and double click on it and enable it manually which make the Touch FX useless for recording.

Sure! Just copy the video internally with software one good software I use is screenflow.
