Their production method is time consuming = less earnings. The popiah stall owner should watch Popiah Ali method - maybe less tasty than this but faster. Just a well meaning comment.

This popiah preparing method is similar to the ones I used to buy from an old uncle during my teens around 60s at Jalan Kenanga, KL

呵呵呵~好久沒回去怡保了,影片裡的四眼仔也頭髮花白了😂說起來還真的有一段歷史,我在十多歲的時候,因為工作(那時候是在怡保花園南區做‘送帶’)關係,騎著摩多到處跑,從而接觸到當時在怡保桂和園某處路邊騎三輪摩多賣薄餅的uncle (影片主角的爸爸),平時就在那賣,有賽馬的日子則在馬場裡面賣~然後在我20多歲的時候, uncle 的兒子也就是影片裡的四眼仔(當年我是這樣叫他的🤣我離開怡保這麼多年了,他大概也不記得我了😂),在怡保舊麗都和國泰戲院附近的茶店裡(影片裡你們看到的)開檔營業,直到如今哦~好懷念唄!
如有機會時間回去怡保,我肯定會去光顧的!因為他家賣的薄餅,是我吃過最好吃的!吉隆坡賣的薄餅,尤其是現在流行的‘紫菜薄餅’,跟他家賣的比較起來,材料(包刮價錢)輸了9條街先別說,味道方面更是沒有可比性!

Agree... owner should think how to improve production while maintaining the traditional taste
这样子的水准包popiah ,那些料可以减少份量的嘛,料掉出皮外,等下又扫去另一个薄饼,顾客如果在现场看到这手艺,买一次吧了,下次再好吃也没第二次来帮衬咯。一对夫妻好像没长知识那样子。
