Have you tried denoiser? Either the built in Adobe one, or there are a few standalone programs that can have ... "close to magical" results. If it's too far gone- cause I've been in similar positions- 5 minutes before filming saves you 5 hours in post. Find out what ISO your camera can shoot at max (I know I can use up to 400, 800 at MAX for certain shots in my case.) If the shot is still too dark, grab a bucket light from ikea, or film in front of a window, etc.
And don't feel down man, I'm in your same spot XD but ey, if it weren't hard, what kind of a story would you be able to tell when you're old and sign that famous person book deal? :p Keep your head up, you say you need us, the world needs you man, so whatever happens, don't give up!

OK, MIGHT I SUGEST THAT YOU UPLOAD YOUR DRIVERS TO THE GO PRO, TAKE IT TO A LAKE OR STREAM OR RIVER, GO FISHING, OR FILM PEOPLE DOING SO. CLEAR YOUR MIND, AND MEDITATE A BIT.
