You guys missed the after credits scene? Always watch till the "To be Continued..." screen (on occasion there isn't one, but usually if there isn't one right away it's because there is an after credits scene)

They don't spell it out in the anime. In the manga, we see that Annie spent 3 years teaching Eren hand-to-hand combat when they were at boot camp. they like each other.

Because they, the survey corps, had to do this in secret. they had to smuggle in the equipment - getting past the military police. And they had to do it on short notice. they had days to set this up, not months.

Don't listen to the people who go "just watch the show everything will be explained", it's a mystery show you're SUPPOSED to theorize and engage with it on an intellectual level. AoT's mysteries are solvable due to it having lots of foreshadowing and clues, that's one of the biggest things that makes it a masterpiece. It allows you to piece things together.
