You seem to be very heavy on the strike. I've always found with bream fishing just to lift up into the fish. Is there a reason to strike so heavy? Thanks
just my opinion, but fishing at distance needs more of a strike into the fish due to the amount of natural bow in the line from rod to bait, so you need to take up that slack quickly in order to set the hook. just my opinion.
