The defense (now) wants it public to use it to get a mistrial. They have no defense. Since this is a death penalty case the judge is doing everything in his power to make sure it's a fair trial.

The defense paid two experts in order to prove why they needed to have a gag order and now they want to cherry-pick what will be released to the public without context in order to confuse the masses. If they crave transparency then they should pay more experts to say why the gag order that they championed should be lifted since the DA also wanted the gag order, and show the public *_everything._*

This very much seems to be a case of the “Little Boy Who Cried Wolf” one too-many times, who is now mad that everyone finally believes him.
It seems as though the defense has put herself in her own little pickle. If you continuously claim due process violations and are trying to argue the additional million+ dollars in expenses involved in changing the venue due to a tainted jury pool on account of pretrial publicity-then it’s kind of hard to turn around the next second and argue this sudden need for public disclosure of information.
The defense has been crying about needing a change of venue so badly because the media has broadcast evidence from the PCA far and wide, at the suggestion of the prosecutor-but now the defense apparently takes no issue with her own desire to publicize a hearing that will be discussing other evidence not yet known to the public.
It is evident she WANTS to try this case in the court of public opinion instead of AT TRIAL where she won’t be able to hide behind the cloak of the gag order which she is currently using as both her sword and her shield.
This seems to be another example of the defense crying foul when the State does something but then turning around and stomping her feet when she wants to do the very same thing she was just calling the State out on.

Has anyone ever thought to look at the Title IX mess that occurred between the prior University of Idaho president Chuck Staben (Yeah...Staben is his actual name) and the athletic director Spear? Staben was accused of a smear campaign against Spear. It got ugly and Spear was pushed out. Staben stepped down. C. Scott Green then replaced Staben and oddly his family once owned 1122 King Rd.
That house is on University of Idaho land even though it was off campus. The Title IX mess did involve the blurred lines of sexual assault or offenses that occurred on or off campus. That very distinction came into play. Staben was accused of Title IX violations while at the same time railroading Spears. It's very odd they tore down that house before the murder case was settled. There's a good possibility that if certain things come to light, the quadruple homicide might be connected to Title IX kangaroo courts. That is, the way the university conducted itself with weaponized Title IX policy (which Biden just reinstated and extended to include trans people) is directly linked to the murders. If that comes to light, a can of worms might open up and call into question the dangers of allowing Title IX to suspend justice like it did. School administrators and teachers were using it against each other! The murders were caused by Title IX abuses and kangaroo courts!
There was an alleged rape (police report) that occurred off campus almost on the anniversary of the Idaho murders but in 2012 and the victim resurrected the case probably as a result of that whole MeToo movement claiming the school didn't do enough. The accused was kicked off the football team. There definitely was a Title IX mess and an old case returned. Then...the murders.

Because the smartphones can turn on and off all by themselves, alleged suspect, BK, would not bring smartphone with him to do awful Idaho 4 crime scene.
He'd be Pinging himself right at awful Idaho 4 crime scene.
    He is not that stupid.
People if you Google can smartphones be turned on and off all by themselves, many articles say, "Yes, smartphones can be turned on and off all by themselves."
Smartphone can also do both turn on and off all by themselves at same time 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes apart.
Software glitches, hardware, overheating, and bad battery can cause smartphones to turn on and off all by themselves. Smartphone can do both turn on and off at same time 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes apart.
    First Scenario:
Alleged suspect, BK, could drive on King Road when smartphone turns off all by itself. Then drive further up the road decide to return same college road when smartphone comes back on.
Note the time cell phone location data Ping occurs near King Road where alleged suspect, BK, drives around a lot that he likes to do. The piece of the puzzle fits and makes sense. The only part that does make sense. I said he drove on college road since he is a college student. Later another commenter said he agreed with me. Common sense says don't drive to unsafe, dark roads at night. Crime does occur! Other People say they like to drive around at night and mornings too.
    Second Scenario:
He could drive on King Road when smartphone turns off all by itself. Then he drives further up road decides to return on same road notices smartphone turned off, so turns back on. The Ping happens.
    For Clearer Picture:
He walks by 3 stores when smartphone turns off all by itself. He walks further up the street decides to walk back same street when smartphone comes back on all by itself. This does not mean he committed theft nor any other crimes in the store.
If a juror in past on a post on internet, I asked the question Can DNA be used to frame a person? Surprisingly article said, "Yes, DNA can be used to frame a person , but too often this gets forgotten and ignored. "People don't let this happen.
DNA Transfer Also. I put if he wore gloves no DNA would be anywheres.
    The Question Is
Did the smartphone turn off and on all by itself right before Idaho 4 King Road crime scene?
Or did alleged suspect,BK, turn off and on the smartphone right before Idaho 4 King Road crime scene ?

That is not correct. The defense's job is to protect their client's rights and ensure the prosecution fulfills its responsibilities. Even those 100% convinced of BK's guilt should finally realize something is wrong. If the prosecutor doesn't meet his obligations to turn over the evidence, a conviction becomes less and less likely. AT has already announced that her patience is exhausted after 1.5 years, and she will file various motions to suppress. It is not enough to claim to have evidence; you have to be able to produce it. There is also no reason to accuse AT of lying. I have often read users claiming AT is making unfounded allegations because she wants to get BK off the hook. Aside from being a very experienced defense attorney with local, state, and federal experience, she is the Chief Public Defender of Kootenai County. Anyone who thinks that this woman would stand in front of a judge multiple times to publicly tell lies on record about evidence and proclaim her client's innocence is out of touch with reality.

As far as family members of the victims they arent getting justice if an innocent person gets put to death for this. They need the real perps and all the perps. Bryan couldnt have done this alone and while all the lies are being uncovered and the truth comes out it doesnt look like he was involved. No connection, no stalking, no DNA. DNA on knife sheath isnt real DNA and it is being hidden from defence now. Now we find out why his phone wasnt active was not cause he was killing people he was in a dead zone. The lack of empathy in such areas must be close to 100%, and was certainly the case in the murder house itself. This is clutching at straws, as are your other comments. Such as finding his DNA in a place he had zero contact with. The viciousness of the crime suggests a crime of passion, of a killer who knew at least one of the victims and was furious about something, but BK didn't know the victims and is not a passionate guy. So you have turned things upside down trying to justify your belief he is the murderer. The proper approach is to look at the evidence first, not to spin the evidence to fit a preconceived idea, as the media has done. BK is the living witness to his alibi, so he can go ahead and testify. No need to battle over cell-phone technology. What’s more, BK’s expert was disqualified in a previous case because his methodology was determined to be “junk science.” The judge knows what the discovery is that is being fought over. Commenters don’t. It could very well be that the prosecution is protecting a witness’s privacy and safety. I speculate this witness may be the door dash driver who may have seen BK at the crime scene. Of it could be another witness. I find Taylor’s recent behavior to be theatrics aimed at furthering in the public’s mind a narrative of prosecutorial misconduct. It seems to be working. Observers are jumping to unwarranted conclusions right and left. Taylor dotes on BK like he’s her baby boy. More theater. Darling BK just couldn’t be a psychopathic monster.
